A++++. Aasta and its wonderful, compassionate, caring staff are the absolute best! Ashley and Monica the managers were always available, easy to communicate with and were so helpful every step of the way. The staff at Aasta is 2nd to none, they embraced Mom like she was family. The med nurses executed Mom’s medications, coordinated with Dr’s when needed prescriptions, and were so on top of it. The caregivers came by so frequently and with such a genuine joy about helping. Giro, Esmeralda, Mada, Junior and countless others always had a smile and a willingness to make sure Mom was good, they did her makeup, listened to her stories, had their fun nicknames for each-other, would come by to see her just to say hi before they leave or when they first got there, they comforted her, encouraged her, brought a smile to her and It wasn’t just sometimes, it was all the time and everytime! They just flat out care! There must be something in the water because they are all so loving, caring, helpful and they enjoy doing it and it shows! We are forever grateful to the staff at Aasta!

My brother-in-law spent the last weeks of his life at Assta assisted living. He was happy there and very well cared for it made us in the family feel quite secure. I recommend their services unreservedly.

Administrator Monica Reyes and Wendy conspired against me saying I stole an oxygen concentrator. I never took possession of it. It was delivered to Aasta and they picked it up from Aasta. Wendy is saying because I signed papers for my mom’s care, I am responsible. How can I be responsible for something I never took possession of. My mom needed oxygen and she was a resident at Aasta. They told me she was evicted and said I had 1 day to pick her up, so I got another place that same day. Then Monica told me that I never told them I was coming to pick my mom up. How in the hell can you put me out and then say I didn’t tell you I was coming? That makes no sense at all. Anyway, she lied and said I took the concentrator but her employees know I didn’t but they’re afraid to speak up. Anyway I will tell everyone I know that I didn’t take it. And these two women cooked up this conspiracy. I will sue them if they keep harassing me. That Wendy better not send me any more bills for something she knows good and well that she and Monica put that story together. Don’t trust these people and get everything in writing. Beware of lying tongues. Anyone that knows anything about me knows I don’t lie and I don’t steal! But go ahead Ladies conspire all you want! I’m not the one! This post is showing 5 stars, but it should be 1 star or better no stars! They are liars! They are still billing my Mom's Medicare every month for a concentrator they know she doesn't have. My Mom is in a nursing home and the nursing home doesn't have their concentrator and neither do I. So sad!

Dad lived here for 4 years and went through 4 different managements. It was a wild ride! Now Monica is the director and I think she has finally found the sweet spot. Assisted living facilities, especially in this area are expensive, understaffed and the staff that is available is sadly underpaid. This is not Aasta’s fault, it’s just state of affairs in CA. Especially for the price of care, Aasta always did their best to show kindness and give good care to my dad. My best advice for a good result is to be present so you can advocate for your loved one’s care and help staff get to know them. But be patient! They are working tirelessly and very patiently to care for a whole building of sick and sometimes challenging residents. There were some times I was disappointed with the care provided but it was always resolved with clear communication. I recommend Aasta and will miss seeing the crew regularly. They also have their own hospice team - Fe and Marina are amazing and I trust them 100%. The menu is good and flexible, the activities seem fun, the garden is gorgeous, it’s a great location.Thank you Aasta!

I would just like to say that my cousin was a resident at Royal Gardens, what is now called Aasta Assisted Living facility. Everyone was so nice to her and she enjoyed her stay there. I visited often, and I was happy with the Caregivers that took care of her. The activities were outstanding for the Memory Care patients. Bus trips to Malibu, a senior prom with gowns, Halloween festivities, photo ops, Etc. I am happy and grateful that my cousin spent her last two years of life there!
