ASHTON PLACE CORP

My wife and I can't say enough about how pleased we have been with Paul, Karen and all the staff at Ashton Place. We had a pretty disappointing experience with the first facility we chose for her Mom, and heard about Ashton Place from a friend. It's been 6 months now. They go above and beyond to create a community for their residents. The staff treats her like family. Last week she actually said, "I'm glad you found this place, I like it here."

Ashton Place has been taking care of my mom for close to 2 years now. There care of her goes beyond anything you would encounter in other Assisted Living facilities. They truly care about her wellbeing and do whatever is needed to keep her happy and healthy. The facility is always clean and well maintained. The staff is always friendly and attentive to her needs. Would highly recommend Ashton Place if you want your loved one to have the best possible care.

We have been very happy with my dad's care here for the past year. There is always a lot of staff on hand to help everyone with all their needs and everyone is treated like family. All worker's are very friendly. This is not a big corporate place where its all about profit. The friendly, compassionate owner is onsite most days and visits with all the residents. In comparison, I work at a fancy $8,000 a month assisted living in town. They can never keep their "care partner" staff and have to use one single agency worker to take care of getting up 20 people, changing them, getting them all to breakfast and serving the breakfast. The "care partner" is often overwhelmed, many residents are still in bed and breakfast is served late because that worker is behind schedule. They have no idea who the residents are. You are paying for the fancy building there and not the care. Consider a smaller assisted living like Ashton Place.

We are so happy someone suggested we look into Ashton Place! Our mom was at another facility that was just too big, too fancy, and too busy to really see to her needs. Since moving to Ashton Place she is socially active, participating with others, eating meals with others...not in her room! This is such a change from before and we can see it all in her demeanor. Thanks so much to Paul (owner and all around great, caring person) and the fantastic team you have assembled. The best part is how happy our mom seems to be now!

Our mother, Iris C, lived at Ashton place for close to the last three years of her life. We wish we would have moved her there five years earlier. It would have reduced the stress on the family years earlier. The quality of care at Ashton Place far exceeded what we were able to provide at home with private caregivers. As soon as Iris went to Ashton Place, her health and happiness improved from the additional care they gave her. They treated her like their own family members. Bridget (nurse), Karen (admin/manager), and Paul (owner) are so caring and competent. They hire a dedicated team. This place has a heart! Our mom’s room was lovely and bright with vaulted ceilings and looked out at the beautiful trees and field. Ashton is set back, quiet, and picturesque, yet convenient to most parts of Sarasota.
