This is a good place to get help. They challenge you. They will definitely keep you sober and keep you happy and staff is borrowing them the best I've ever been with and the best place I've ever been to for treatment. Tina's awesome Marissa's awesome!

Super unprofessional. Multiple code violations and also when I have been trying to call to get my medical records I havent got a call back and I left a voicemail weeks ago. Today I called and I got sent to voicemail for Tina and for Amanda. This place is a joke and seriously needs to be looked at. Super unprofessional staff and lacks communication now and well I was there.

This place was the absolute worst when it came to most of the support staff and facilitators. As much as I liked some of the the facilitators, some were not a good fit in that field of work and they did great in single sessions / 1 on 1, but in groups it was a nightmare. The head director Tina and her side kick Amanda were both very unprofessional and rude and disrespectful and while I did my whole 90 days there, we had a total of 1 house meeting to address our concerns or needs, when in fact we were supposed to be having 1 meeting a week or at the very least, every 2 weeks, but they didn't care nor did it even matter what our concerns were. Even if you did tell them your issues or concerns, nothing came of it and all it did was frustrate you and make you not care about the place. Besides the lead staff being a joke, the support staff was just as bad (Not all of them, but most). I seen support staff noding out at the front desk, and even when they sat in on groups too. One of the support staff constantly came in to work smelling like weed and nothing was done about it. I can't tell you how many times I seen participants noding out and it was reported by so many of us and nothing was done about it. It would take them overdosing for the staff to actually do something about it. 2 different people overdosed in my 3 months there with one guy overdosing twice in 2 weeks and the second guy had to go to the hospital cuz it was so bad. Then shortly after I left a heard a guy overdosed and died too. And I know if an addict wants to use they will find a way, but come on. Don't tell me there's not more they could be doing, it's mostly DOC there so they have the ability to do way more than a regular treatment center. And don't even get me started on the food there. We are left to make our own food which is fine but then when 30 people eat 2 12packs of yogurt in 2 days and the staff complains about it, how does that make sense? Make it make sense? That's only 24 yogurts and even if people only took 1, 6 people are still not going to get one and they have the nerve to tell us we need to have better control over our eating habits. Every week we ran out of milk and countless times we've ran out of eggs, bread, coffee, and peanut butter. They don't provide you anything to drink besides water and milk, except for when it's dinner and then they will give us crappy great value juice mix powder and then they wonder why we go through so much milk and coffee? That's all we got to drink! Hello! You're only allowed 1 visit from your family a week and it's just for 1 hour and it's only from 11-4 on Saturday or Sunday and you have to sign up for a time slot during the week, otherwise they can't come. They've almost turned my 5 year old son and girlfriend away because THEY were short staffed or THEY messed up there scheduling and had 2 family's there at the same time but she let it slide that time, even though it wasn't my fault. I can see if they noticed it before my family came and asked me to reschedule the time or to say they couldn't come, but to have them traveling 25 mins to get there just to be told they can't visit can really do some damage to a family in recovery. Especially a little boy who doesn't quite understand why his dad is there and can only see him for 1 hour on the weekends. I just kept my head down and did what I had to do to get home to my loved ones. When it comes to sobriety, you gotta want it. Nobody can make you do it, not even the thought of losing your kids will stop you. I won't give aspen the credit of helping me or changing me but I did appreciate the time I was given to get my mind right and get my life back on track. But I honestly could of done that anywhere that was safe and Aspen was definitely not a safe place and I still did it!!! I hope that the staff at Aspen read this and take what I'm saying seriously. You guys need to do better. Start actually giving a crap and be passionate about your job cuz these are peoples lives at stake. Deuces ✌️

The groups were good, helpful, and most of the counselors are great because they can relate to what we've been through. They were always very unorganized, the place is a mess, some staff is rude, but I won't lie. If it wasn't for Maddie, I'm pretty sure the place would fall apart. She was amazing and really held us together. Thanks for doing the shopping and always showing up to work! That girl deserves a raise.

I've been here almost 30 days and I absolutely love it. Yes the curriculum may be outdated but it's easy to understand and honestly even though each class or group starts with a certain assignment or role play exercise, we actually get to choose where the classes flow to and where we want to end up. As long as people are opening up and we are getting "work" done and by "work" I mean any progress in our recovery. Lean into vulnerability, have courageous conversations, and step outside your comfort zone. You get out of it what you put into it. Also the food is 5 star.
