ASSISTED LIVING AT IMMANUEL VILLAGE

This facility has gone steadily downhill. Residents do not get maintenance on their apartments which leaves appliances, fixtures, etc. in serious disrepair. Shoddy, leaking windows waste energy and leave apartments too cold or too hot. Certain residents are allowed to be rude, abusive, obnoxious, and dowright evil to other residents and the management does nothing. Worst management that I have ever witnessed. These folks do not know what they are doing by any stretch. They are incredibly incompetent, clueless, and neglectful. What a shame to run this once decent place into the ground. Shame on you all.

This community is amazing. I recommend them to anyone needing senior care. Please recognize Disa, she went above and beyond and truly cares about this community. Kaylee Chilton and receptionist were very welcoming and friendly. All of your team is excellent and deserves recognition.

Gave my mother overall great care when she was in rehab after a lengthy hospital stay. Staff was great. I think frequent visits to your loved one results in better care, there were a few times I had to discuss issues and remind them to do their job but they are all understaffed and overworked at these facilities I really can’t complain. Never smelled a foul odor ever when visiting and saw what appeared to be lots of caring staff and content residents.

I loved this place + what was offered so much, I moved in! After more than a month living here, I find nothing nor anyone to complain about. I cannot stress enough how fabulous it is. There are many things to do + places to go. The menu has a nice variety, with soup, main dish + fish daily specials. The food has a fabulous taste.

I learned approx a week and a half ago that my parents needed to be in assisted living. My father is a retired vet and had clots in both lungs and could not be released to go home after leaving the VA. I immediately thought of this place. It had everything my folks wanted and needed. I went and stopped by on July 3. A nice nurse showed me the grounds, but, was unable to show me a room as the person in charge of that was not in. I then left my contact information, and waited for the call that was supposed to come on July 5. On July 6, I was told the person was busy and could not see me and there was no one there to show me an apartment. On July 7, I was called, set up an appointment, and 2 minutes before I arrived on the grounds was told she had double booked herself and could I come back the next day at 4. The next day I received a call from another person who said the first person was out sick and she couldn't help me because the first person wanted to work with me. I have yet to receive a phone call to see the apartment. I will never deal with these folks again. I have never been treated so unprofessionally. If they did not want my business, they could have said so, instead I was run around repeatedly and treated with very little dignity.
