I’m writing this as a close friend of someone who spent several months living at this facility, and based on everything I saw and heard during that time, I would strongly advise others to think twice before placing a loved one here. From the beginning, something felt off. My friend would often tell me about how staff seemed disorganized and short-tempered, especially during evenings and weekends. Calls for assistance went unanswered for long stretches, and basic needs like medication and hygiene were frequently delayed or overlooked. When I visited, I noticed the environment looked clean on the surface, but the mood among residents was quiet and withdrawn, like people had given up on being heard. What bothered me most was how impersonal and businesslike everything felt. It didn’t seem like anyone there really knew or cared about the residents as individuals. I remember my friend telling me about how management, particularly someone named Glori Trube, would make grand gestures during inspections or tours, but behind closed doors, there was little follow-through. My friend described her as more focused on protecting the facility’s image than actually improving care. By the time we helped move my friend out, they were emotionally drained and far less healthy than when they arrived. The experience left a lasting impact, and it’s something I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through if it can be avoided. Please, if you’re considering this place for your parent, grandparent, or any older loved one, take the time to look deeper than the brochures and lobby. Visit at different hours, talk to current residents, and don’t be afraid to ask hard questions. Your loved one deserves to feel safe, cared for, and respected, and from what I witnessed, that just wasn’t the reality here.

It's an honor to serve the wonderful resident's at The Landing. The staff is always willing to go above and beyond and always wearing a smile!

Seems like a really nice place. They bring in top notch speakers to keep their residents informed on what is happening around town. The facility itself appears to be fairly new and very well maintained. The staff we interacted with were very helpful, and the residents all seemed satisfied with the place.

The full sized warm water Pool provides a relaxing way to enter the water without your muscles to tighten up and causing that moment of pain and apprehension as you step into a pool. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The Certified Physical Therapist there from Midwest Physical Therapy (Now known as LOC Physical Therapy as now owned by Lincoln Orthopedic Center) has helped me strengthen my back arms and legs with almost no pain. I am an amputee in need of therapy for my lower back, right leg and to lose weight. I went from barely moving through the water to swiming laps in the lap Lane and lost 32 pounds. Four and 1/2 stars. ROXIE the Therapist Rocks!
