I highly recommend Astera Care Home for the exceptional care that my husband Larry received while he was there. God bless the caregivers Aaron, Kevin, Lilibeth and the owner Sharon who all very professional and have loving,, understanding, and compassionate hearts. They treat the residents like their own family and take care of their needs. The care home is very clean and cozy and the backyard is relaxing for the residents to enjoy the sun and the garden. I also love the fact that they celebrate each resident’s birthday, Father’s Day and Thanksgiving making it really special with cake and person’s favorite food with balloons and beautiful backdrop. Thank you Astera team for all you do.

My dad has been under the care of Astera since May of last year. The quality of care has been exceptional. The staff is very professional, caring. The facility is immaculately clean, a very comfortable environment, two vegetable gardens in the backyard and fruit trees. There is a patio in the backyard and artificial turf for the residents to enjoy. The staff does coordinate picnics in the back during warm weather. My father has Parkinson's and requires exercise, assistance with dressing and bathing, restroom needs, medicine management, washing of clothes, and personal maintenance. My brother and I and all friends and family who visit the facility are impressed. If you have a family member who needs a clean and cared for facility with staff members who are interactive with your loved one, this is the place to bring them to for kind and quality Care. Lastly, all residents have a scheduled breakfast lunch and dinner. They all eat together, they all spend the day together in the family room. They do not stay in their bedrooms unless it is absolutely necessary.

My mom received great care the last year of her life. Sharon and her staff provided a clean, homey environment and I appreciate their professional care.
