AT HOME AGAIN MEMORY CARE RIO

Such a wonderful facility! The owner, management and staff are so great and truly care about the residents! The facility is updated, cozy and clean. There is always such fun and engaging activities planned for everyone. A very lovely place!

Um all I can say is wow! The environment is wonderful. The food they serve is amazing. The staff is over the top amazing. The rates are good. I'd pick this place for any loved one to stay because of the quality of care and I know they will always be in good hands. Also they have bingo!

I wish I could rate this higher! What a wonderful place for mom! The owner Alexandra is just phenomenal when working with my mom, and the young fresh faces in this place mixed with experienced medical personal really attend to Mom and her needs. Personally, I think mom loves the attention she gets from the younger caregivers, and I feel really at ease and safe with the experienced caregivers. It's like she has her own apartment suite for a room, her own bathroom, her own furniture, her own snacks in her room, her own mini fridge that she was allowed to keep, her own pictures...it's her home. They clean her room so it's never filthy, they supervise her showers (meaning that someone is in that bathroom with her as she showers) so I never have to worry about her falling and re-breaking her hip again, they offer physical therapy, they make home made food special to specific diets, and they come up with fun little activities for the residents ( that was really something special that was stressed. They aren't Patients. This is their HOME. They LIVE here. There for they are residents-- what an amazing thought process that I've never considered prior to having to get help with taking care of Mom!). This place looks like a model home, and it never has THAT smell. The stench of Ammonia/pee/body smell that seems too common place in elderly homes? It dosn't exist here. It's fresh and clean. Nobody sits and wastes away in their rooms. They even allow us to visit as a family, something I'm sure that people really cherish not only during this terrible pandemic, but as people near end of life stages...it's sad to consider, but having family near during that time is such an important gift. We check in, answer the covid risk questions, get a temperature check, and then sign a form. Really simple! Mom is happy. Incase you couldn't tell, I'm happy too. Mom's happiness is above my own though, and we both are just so tickled pink about the love and joyfulness here! You can tell Alexandra has this beautiful and incredible amount of love towards the people she and her healthcare teams work with, and I sincerely wish all places were like At Home Again Rio. I wish all people could feel this comfortable leaving the care of Mom and Dad with people, and I wish all places were this involved. It's also really wonderful to be able to be apart of decision making when mom gets to a certain point where she can't care for herself, some of the scariest parts in ageing. My brothers and I appreciate it so much! Thank you Alexandra! Thank you Healthcare Team! I am so thankful to At Home Again-Rio for the care they provided to my great grandmother during her final years. Management and staff do an excellent job of going above and beyond to make sure the residents are well cared for. Hands down this is the best assisted living around!

This is an awesome place!! I cannot say enough good things about At Home Assisted Living in Rio. They are a top notch facility with professional employees that truly care about their residents. Everyone is known by name and treated by the employees like family from the beginning. The rooms are spacious, the homemade meals are delicious and the live music is phenomenal. Management goes above and beyond for these residents with daily activities and homemade holiday meals for the entire family. If you want your family member to have the best transition from their home to an Assisted Living, this is the place for you!. It is truly a home away from home!
