Have a love one there. I researched trying to b find the best place for my Sister. Unfortunately, there’s been a lot of turnover in leadership since she moved there. Now on number 3 Director! Dec. 2025. She also misses workers, that were a daily part of her life. Are they in financial trouble? Just asking?

Just wanted to give additional kudos to the staff and management of Vitality Living! Tonight there was a terrible storm in the area. I live over an hour away in Louisville, I am very grateful to the caregiver who was willing to confirm to me that everything was OK with my mother. I already knew that they do regular drills for emergencies, and they are very capable of handling the residents and their needs in an emergency… they take them all to a safe place prior to the storm and had a detailed plan for their safety in the event that things do not go well. Still, my mother was worried, because even though she’s in memory care, she is able to watch TV, and knew that the storm went very close to us in Fern Creek/Glen Mary… big thanks to the care and consideration of that caretaker! She answered all my questions, took a phone to my mother, who is unable to use a phone on her own, and waited patiently while I explained to my mother that we are OK…and made sure that she was OK. I am very grateful for that. Both my Mom (88) and Dad (94) went to Vitality Elizabethtown assisted living in May 2023 and Mom has now been in the memory care unit since March 2024. I am very pleased with the care they’ve been able to provide to my parents and pleased with the way they have communicated with me. Nothing is ever perfect, but I am so very grateful for the care that we receive and I know that everybody is doing the very best that they can and that’s all I can expect. They’ve done a great job.

My aunt lived at Vitality for 2 years. She recently had to move into a nursing home due to a decline in health. She keeps asking me when she can go home to Vitality. Vitality is a beautifully updated property. The hallways are an art gallery. The culture of Vitality, that starts with Sherry and that I witnessed in every employee is to provide exceptional care, respect, communication and to treat my aunt as if she was their family.

My mother was a resident at Atria for almost 4 years. Fro the moment she entered the building until she passed away, she was treated with respect and dignity. As her Alzheimer’s progressed the staff understood her needs often better than our family. I visited at all hours on different days and never once heard or saw any resident mistreated, neglected or spoken to in an inappropriate manner. The staff became our new family creating a true home for all of us. We were so grateful and fortunate to find such a caring, professional facility for my mother’s last years.

My Mom lived at Atria for four years, until she had to move to a nursing home because she became completely immobile. EVERYONE at Atria became like family and treated Mom with respect and loved her through some very difficult times. We are so grateful for the care and kindness they showed Mom while caring for her; from the Director to the lovely ladies who kept her apartment clean, they’re all the BEST!!!
