I visited a friend who lives here and I was impressed with the cleanness of the front lobby, hallways, and dining area. I was greeted by smiling and friendly staff members who appeared to like their jobs. The property is located in a nice part of Thousand Oaks with lots of convenient shopping and dining nearby.

My mom has lived at Atria for 8 months now. She really likes her apartment, has made some nice friends and acquaintances, and most of all appreciates the kind, caring and very accommodating staff. They have really risen up to help my mom after a stint in rehab, helping her to get back on her feet again and making sure she is cared for and looked after. Eden, the executive director, has been extremely helpful in making a difference in my mom’s stay here. My mom’s 104th birthday is coming up and they are going out of their way to make it very special. Thanks to everyone for your compassion and kind attention.

The Engage Life department is truly the heart of this community. Connie is absolutely incredible—her passion, creativity, and genuine care for the residents shines through in everything she does. Jessica in activities is also wonderful and brings such warmth, energy, and attentiveness to the residents every day. The programs are thoughtful, engaging, and bring so much joy and connection. You can feel how much this team truly cares. The driver is fantastic as well—kind, patient, and always making outings safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone.

My mom has lived at Atria Grand Oaks for over a year and she absolutely loves it. She loves the food, the very attentive staff, and all the new friends she's made. She loves it so much that she even got her 103 year old sister in law move there too. It's five star dining at it's best. The food is so good, that people who go to Mastro's next door actually end up wanting go to Atria instead. Most of all, more than anything the best part about Atria Grand Oaks is the Executive Director Eden. She is so warm and kind, and really treats everyone like family, no joke. Tina, the head of the nursing staff is also exceptional. All I will say is this; if you want a community, and not an old folks home this is the place to move, and let them know Steve Goldberg sent you, as I'll get a finders fee. LOL!

I wanted to write a review to convey a compliment to the staff. I have lived at Atria Grand Oaks for a year. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. All staff members are attentive and friendly every day. That is unusual these days. They know our names. They are responsive to our needs and requests. The residents are diverse in their capabilities, level of required care, and personalities, yet the staff are patient and kind. While diverse, the residents, perhaps also unusual these days, get along well. All the people at Grand Oaks, staff, residents and management, make this a very pleasant place for seniors.
