My mom and her family had a bad experience in Morada Lake Arlington Memory Care. Some of the key staff gave me the impression that they did not like their job. They weren’t caring to the residents and rude to family. Especially if I questioned my mom’s level of care. Poor coordination between works shifts. I would asked how my mom did during the night, day staff could not answer. Communication in my opinion is poor with staff. I couldn’t understand them and they couldn’t understand me many times. A simple question to an employee turns into a complaint. In my mom’s situation Morada was very quick to require me to hire privately funded sitters. If I didn’t hire them the contract allows them to hire the sitters for you, but you are still required to pay. Those residents confined to wheelchairs do better here because staff can better control their movement. In my mom’s situation she could walk, staff did everything possible to keep her from walking unless I got a private sitter to walk with her. I was told staff didn’t have time to watch her since she was walking. Over priced for what memory care offers.

Our parents have been residents at Morada for several years. The staff has always been very helpful. Brian - the social director - is AMAZING. He truly cares for the residents. Brad has always been responsive and helpful. Morada is a blessing to our family.

My mom moved into Morada in January 2025. She is very happy here. The apartment is roomy. The food is good. And the people both the residents and the staff are great. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants first class independent living.

My Mother moved in to Morada Senior Living section several months ago. The apartment is larger than many we had seen. Price reasonable. The staff and residents are fun & friendly. The building is clean & in good order. Best of all, Mom LOVES the food!

My 85 year-old father moved in in October, 2023. He loves it. The staff is extremely friendly, and activities keep them occupied and happy. Patricia and Bryan are such a shining light on the facility. I'm so happy we chose Morada for my dad.
