An overall great community, after months of looking for memory care for my Grandmother we chose Discovery Commons. Every time I visit, staff is always upbeat and friendly, so it feels like a family.

I wanted to come on here and share my thoughts on this memory care and assisted living . I have an aunt in the memory care and I spend a lot of time in and out of there. They now have a new director in that department that is very unqualified for the position she holds there. She is very unprofessional and not very pleasant when she speaks to those ladies that have been working there for years. I really wish Erin was still there because I never seen or heard anything like that from her. There needs to be a more qualified person/persons to be running a department of that nature.

A beautiful place to live, they recently started renovating and it’s almost done. It looks gorgeous. The best part of the building is the staff. Dana, Denise, Sherry Ann, Tammy and Quinn all do an amazing job and truly CARE. Which you can’t say about every place. They know every person by name and encourage them to participate in the community events. Love stopping in here when I can and having the warmest welcome. A great place you can trust to take care of your family!

My dad recently moved in and we both have been very pleased with our experience. From caring staff to great food, which is very important to my dad 😊The location is ideal for him. His hospital is Mayo which is right across the street. And bonus when there is a storm I feel safe with him there for their electricity will never go out due to it’s on same generator as Mayo. And a no flood zone which is important living in Florida.
