ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THE ENTIRE FACITLITY AND STAFF, BEFORE THE NEW ADMINISTRATOR ARRIVED. THE ADMINISTRATION THAT WAS THERE BEFORE THIS WOMAN WAS ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL- CARING, KEPT THE FAMILIES INFORMED AND MADE IT A POINT TO SHOW GENUINE CARE FOR THE RESIDENTS. UNFORTUNATELY, THE ONLY STAFF THAT SEEMS TO ACTUALLY CARE FOR THE PATIENTS AND SHOW COMPASSION AND LOVE, IS THE STAFF THAT IS STILL THERE FROM THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATION. THE NEW DIRECTOR IS MORE CONCERNED WITH FILLING THOSE MOST EXPENSIVE ROOMS AND THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO HER. VERY UPSETTING CONSIDERING THIS FACILITY HAS ALWAYS BEEN TOP NOTCH.

A close friend of mine has a uncle in this facility. His uncle just told him that the services have quickly deteriorated under the new management while increasing the costs for each resident. Poor medical services with professional medical services lacking in many recent cases. Most important recently the third overall facility manager overlooked the most basic meal items in the supply contract which has alarmed many residents. Sure hope the OWNER OF THIS FACILITY is aware of all these problems. Where is customer satisfaction on their agenda!!!!!

I moved to Kauhale Port City 3 years ago. I had given up on life, but now I am happy to say, that the staff at Kauhale Port City loved me back to health. I am happier now than I have been in a long long time. If you’re looking for a great facility for yourself or a loved one, this is it.

One of the best Executive Directors. She is the most hard working and knowledgeable person I know. She goes above and beyond to make sure the residents get the best care. She will always be my favorite.

Port City is a wonderful community!! The new management, Kauhale, has made several positive changes. Care givers, nurses, and the new Executive Director give exceptional care to the residents. Maintenance is always busy making the environment appealing and the dietary staff ensures high quality meals and there is always fun activities happening for the residents. I would highly recommend Port City. And there’s an option for great prices too!!
