Awesome help with hosting a 100th birthday party!! Special praise to Rosalba for making this a special and memorable time. Family members that came from Hawaii and Oregon and locally were treated to balloons, cake, ice cream and song in a semi-private setting to honor our matriarch on her 100th!

When searching for an assisted living facility for my mom, we looked for a place that felt like home. We chose Atria because of all the facilities that we toured, it felt like home. The entire staff is very capable and empathetic. Many have worked here for over 20+ years. From the reception desk, caregivers, housekeeping, maintenance, housekeeping, activity directors through management, all are inclusive and know each resident and address them by name. The caregiving staff work diligently to ensure my mother’s needs are met. Wherever you are in the facility, you are greeted with a hello and a smile. The warm environment has made my mother’s transition to assisted living as smooth as possible.

Our Mother came here last year after things went sideways at her previous facility nearby. She moved into a one bedroom to start with as they were currently booked across the board.. A nice studio came up a few months later and we were able to move her to that room punctually and without any problems, and with help from all those involved with Mom's move. Since she has been here she and our family have nothing but good and wholesome things to say about the Caregivers, the Housekeeping team , the Staff as well as the administration for helping our 97 year old Mother feel Cared for and loved here at Atria Sunnyvale. Thank you all for loving our Mom as much as we do! The Grubb Family

I am incredibly disappointed. Bait and switch. Less than 24 hours after the signing of the contract and (mere hours after moving in) everything changed dramatically. My mother became what is essentially a prisoner, her personal freedoms and liberties stripped. Meanwhile, I began receiving notices of outrageous fee increases (unconscionable fee increases) due to incompetent directorship. These people are making up their own rules and most importantly, they are not adhering to the California Code of Regulations 22 CCR § 87468.1. We got scammed by Atria. I am documenting everything.

I moved my brother in last Thursday, after touring the week before and understanding what Atria Sunnyvale has to offer. My experience with the process was much easier than I had anticipated. (it was an unknown to me). Both Nancy (sales director) and Flavio (Exec. Director) were kind, patient and provided clear information and instructions. We were able have new furniture shipped directly them and had time to set it up. The residents were offered a lot of activities daily , mostly in 30-minute increments, both physical, entertainment and learning opportunities that I think works well for my brother and the community at large. There was also a robust schedule of events to keep everyone and families involved. The staff (activities director, medical help, restaurant staff) were very patient and knew the residents well. I had dinner with my brother twice now and saw that staff were helpful and knew what some of residents wanted without asking. I am glad to have found this assisted living facility and know that my brother will be well cared for. Thank you.
