August Healthcare at Richmond

Great place, too also to live. But , not very kind when rent not paid on the first of the month.Not considerate to any residents , circumstances. May rent not be paid of the first, but I’ve always within a thirty day monthly period

I am blessed to have access to be living here at this time & season of my life. I am a little upset that the internet service is ineffective & I was also informed that cable would be available in my apartment. It looks like those two things that was guaranteed with my lease agreement was totally withdrawn from my apartment & I had call to share it with management over 3 times & never got a response. I am hoping that anyone else that chooses to come live here want get that false expectation. This is a really nice place to live & it’s very frustrating on how the staff will not respond at all & just tell me why they won’t fix the problems to one of the first things that ensured that I would have good internet service that was included in my monthly rent. Being that I would go purchase my own I know they would totally disagree in me withdrawing the difference from my monthly rent. I just want the best for August Health Care. Thank you

Visited my oldest brother today. I was very pleased at the facility. All the staff and medical personnel were very nice and the residents were so all so friendly. Loads of things to do and the grounds are beautiful. Food served was pleasant to the eye and pallet. I give this facility 10 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I enjoy my living conditions, Would love to see meals offered to the independent living residents. The meals are served only to those who are sick and shut-in. My 2 cats love being at August Retirement, I consider this is Home. Thanks August Retirement Community. Ms.Kitty

My mother transitioned from the AUGUSTHealthcare at Richmond (Henrico County, Virginia) Independent Living Pavilion Apartments to August at Richmond Assisted Living on February 1, 2024. The level of service (Administrative, Nursing, House Keeping and Nutritional Service, etc.) rendered was exceptional these past 30 days. Mom has been at this facility since 2016. Praying that she is able to get a room, when the time comes for a higher (LTC) level of service. On March 1, 2024, because of declining health issues my mother transitioned to August at Richmond SNF - LTC. All aspects of this higher level of service were mostly excellent. Like all other ALFs and SNFs everywhere there is a continuing need for CNAs, LPNs and RNs. In an effort to assist this facility, I posted positive comments on the NextDoor App. Hopefully, this action will assist the Admissions and Marketing Director and the Director of Nursing. I will be posting comments in the future as my mother possibly enters Comfort Care at August Healthcare at Richmond (23229). T. C. Jordan Henrico, Virginia
