Warning ⚠️ The staff cut off all communication with residents, went in residents room and purposely turned off the residents cell phone closed the blind and doors are always locked there.. You need to be let in and out with someone pushing a code on key pad? Just like in prison. They say no visitors allowed on weekends have to have a 48hour approved 1 hour only per week visit, but only allow 1 family per week , there are 20 residents there?? How is this appropriate to keep loved ones from their families. Staff will not answer questions to what meds were given ,they went without shower or being washed up for 5 days, even though they threw up on themselves. Family POA'S were not called when resident was sick and throwing up. There was a welfare check done on the resident that resulted in a Ambulance to the hospital because of the poor condition the resident was in and hospitalized for a week. The reason our loved one was there was for memory care .The owners daughter believes in no verbal communication, she is rude and believes she will make all of the residents medical decisions and try to cut out the familys facilitating the medical care they need, let's staff lie to residents, speaks to them in a demeaning manner. The resident went without a emergency medical pendant for 5 days there, we were given multiple excuses why the resident went without it, none of which were valid. This was absolutely unacceptable the residents safety was in jeopardy. The residents calls for help went unanswered by staff. Staffs only response to any questions asked ie.. why no shower was given we were told "we don't do that on the weekends". They are running a skeleton crew , who is not trained appropriately to care for the needs of elderly or memory care people. Another thing is they open all the residents mail, and claim they do that because they don't want a resident to get a bill in the mail ?? They are essentially doing their best to keep families from their loved ones. You get a run around with the staff only person who you may or may not be able to talk with in an email only is the owners daughter... sad a loved one is kept isolated by them and not cared for well in their golden years. I wished I would have listened to one of the residents the day before moving our loved one there, a sweet lady in the hallway cried out says "please help me its like a prison here they don't let family come and visit." Don't put your loved one here and wherever they go please check up on them and often. I'm sorry our loved one went through what they did for 5 days they were there. From the first day resident was brought there the Administrator was not there to make a smooth transition. The staff knew nothing about the bag of meds from the rehab or what to even do with them, nor how to use the cpap machine and or give nebulizer treatments correctly??

I went to go visit my Grams today, I am beyond words how poorly she was treated and the way the staff talked about her while using profanity. How sad to the individuals that live there, I prayed the Lord watches over them all and the staff can find it in their hearts to be kind to all our loved ones that reside there.
