AUTUMN GROVE HUMBLE

The staff is very attentive to their residents. We enjoy visiting with our friend and volunteering with the activities. Our friend loves the food, it looks good and smells great. I would recommend anyone looking to place a family/friend to check them out for memory care.

Would not recommend. The director made many empty promises and returned phone calls weeks late. They were unable to provide a weekly or daily menu and the seating was very poor. A few of the care staff seemed excellent, but must were very young and inexperienced (which will not work at a facility like this!). The tv was on all day for whomever was plopped in front of it, but it just played awful musicals that my dad had no interest in. There was no programming or activities, and it was a very sad place. My dad spent his final 3 weeks there and my mom was with him every day. Only signing the hospice paperwork got him the seating he needed. Do not trust the promises they make to you. That said, some of the care staff, like Do, were absolute angels.

My dad has lived at Autumn Grove Atascocita for over 3 years now. The staff, especially the directors Pearl & Hiawatha, are caring, loving, compassionate, attentive, & supportive. My dad is spoiled rotten with affection & humor by the entire staff. I couldn’t give my dad the quality of 24hr round the clock care that he deserved & Autumn Grove caregivers have become an extension of my family. They are angels and we are blessed that my dad is in their care.
