My dad has been in this facility for about 3 weeks and we are impressed with the care and kindness shown to him. He was in a larger facility and I think the smaller home atmosphere suits memory care patients much better. The residents are usually up and involved in some activity. The care givers try to engage the residents as much as possible. The backyard garden is lovely and a great place to Visit your loved one. Dementia /Alzheimer’s is a wicked disease and I feel grateful that my dad is being taken care of with kindness and patience. Stacey , the director , definitely has a passion for what she does. I would recommend this facility to anyone with a loved one experiencing dementia of any kind.

My mother has lived in Autumn Grove for just over a year and a half. The staff are all incredible - always happy, smiling and so compassionate. They care for each resident as an individual - focus on their interests, and ensure that they are able to experience things they enjoy and have fun- while providing superior healthcare - paying attention to all details - hydration, nutrition, medication, etc. I know that Mom's physical health is optimum now because of their attention to detail, and the care provided by the staff, Nurse, NP, and the other medical providers that are engaged in the care. Everyone is obviously well trained in caring for people with Alzheimer's but are also just seem naturally patient and positive. They provide care with love and a sunny disposition which is just as important as all of the other things they do so well. Mother loves walking all the time on the perfect walkway in the middle of the amazing garden and sitting on the huge back porch which is so peaceful with the gorgeous flowers, birds and trees. She also really enjoys the music and little parties. Everything looks and feels just like home. I feel so blessed that she is able to live in such a lovely place cared for by extraordinary people.

Our sweet 93 yr old Mother has resided at Autumn Grove Katy for 1.5 years. We are very pleased with the caring, attentive staff, and are grateful for their patience and love. Throughout the pandemic Stacey Lake and her dedicated caregivers and Nurses went the extra mile to maintain a safe environment in a very difficult situation. I don't know that Mom would still be with us if she had not been at Autumn Grove. There seems to be plenty of staff and attention, and not a lot of turnover like some of the other Assisted Living homes we experienced prior. We are grateful for Autumn Grove Katy

My mother, Joann, has resided at Autumn Grove Katy since November 2014, almost six years. During these years she has received excellent care and an amazing quality of life. She came to Autumn Grove Katy because she was overmedicated at a facility near my sister in Mena, AR. The stark contrast to the staff there and Autumn Grove Katy was very noticeable. Autumn Grove staff are well trained not only for routine care, but also for successfully attending to residents with sometimes difficult behaviors. I began to see what a difference attitude and training make in such an environment. They treat the residents and family members with sincere respect and concern. They strive to provide meaningful activities which is quite a challenge for such varying abilities and interests. Any of the times I have been away from Katy, I have always had confidence that my mother was well cared for better than any other place I could have chosen. The staff and caregivers are the first reason to consider Autumn Grove Katy, but the facilities are the other reason. The cottage is small with only 16 residents. The living and dining areas have a home atmosphere, not a facility environment. Diligent attention to cleaning and maintenance has kept Autumn Grove Katy an attractive place to live. Because my mother loved her flower gardens, she was most attracted to the yard and patio. We all love the soothing surroundings on the patio just watching the birds and butterflies.

If your looking for a caring, warm and homey facility with one on one care, then this is the place for your loved one. Mom was in a bigger assisted living, and became lost in the shuffle. She needed a little more assistance and personal care. I didn’t want her parked in front of a TV all day, but didn’t need her over stimulated and tired either. The staff at Autumn Grove Cottage Katy are attentive, loving & run it like a well oiled machine. They have a NP that comes in on Friday’s and over sees the care of the residence, a nurse on shift or standby at all times. Mobile Dental care comes, a full service beautician, weekly bible study, student volunteers, a podiatrist, a weekly piano man. A Director who has such southern charm, she loves what she does and it shows. She has held my hand and has helped me navigate through this whole process. The aides have such patience, keep the place so tidy, the residents and their rooms are always so clean, you can tell everyone is comfortable and getting the TLC/affection they deserve. I am very happy and know that mom is too. It is an intimate, family setting and that is just they need.
