AVALON AT BRIDGEWATER (NJ80A006)

My Mom had nearly 10 wonderful years at the Avalon at Bridgewater. The staff is amazing with communication and the facility is absolutely immaculate. My Mom passed peacefully on 2/17/2024 following an up and down year with health issues related to dementia. I moved from NJ to NC two years ago and the nursing director, Melissa Carey, always kept me updated whether good or bad news. I was at peace knowing that Mom was still in the best hands for quality of care and the community of caregivers. It’s a hard decision to place a parent in an assisted living facility, but it was the best decision for Mom.

My mother was at Avalon at Bridgewater for about five years, until her passing a few weeks. We were lucky to find such an amazing place. Everyone there is so caring and so friendly. This includes the nursing staff who were not only caring but knowledgable and on top of her care at all times. They would keep in close touch with the family and would always inform us of any change. Needing extra care in her last few years, she was in their Memory Unit, where we found the same type of care. The residents are kept active, and not left on their own. And finally, in hospice care, she was in her same room. They were all very respectful, and made her feel very comfortable. If you are looking for an assisted living facility, I highly recommend Avalon at Bridgewater.

My Mom loves the Avalon in Bridgewater. Everyone there is very nice and the nursing staff take great care of her and keep me posted on any changes in Mom's condition. They adapt very well as her needs change. We are very happy that we chose The Avalon! The food is good too!

We researched several facilities before deciding on Avalon for our beloved Aunt and we are very happy with our decision. Avalon provided excellent care and services over many years from Assisted Living, to Memory Care, and finally Hospice Care. We cannot say enough about the knowledgeable and caring Administration, Nursing, and Staff. Our Aunt was very happy with the activities, food, and warm friendly environment. Her room was always immaculate and her every need cared for. Staff and Nursing communicated with our family and her doctors in a very proactive way. We highly recommend Avalon at Bridgewater.

The doctors, nurses, aides and administrative staff were extremely professional and caring. Her days were filled with many activities and events. Our family felt very comfortable knowing that our mom was happy in a safe, clean, and loving environment.
