AVALON MEMORY CARE

The team at Avalon was exceptional during my father's 2 years at their facility. The staff treated him so well and we always felt he was loved and cared for. After having him at another facility close by and moving him to Avalon, it's hands down the best in the area.

My family cannot say enough good things about the care my mother received at Avalon. Avalon managed a very difficult illness with aplomb and grace and acceptance for the entire 18 months she lived there. Her final three months were not her happiest under the circumstances (after a fall resulting in hospice care), but the staff’s continued affection for her and real professionalism during her hospice stay (in place at Avalon) provided her AND her family with great comfort. I would recommend to anyone dealing with similar circumstances (as our family also found Avalon through a family’s recommendation) that this is the best place for someone with dementia or other memory issues to reside.

My father developed dementia and spent the last year and a half of his life at Avalon Lewisville. He was comfortable, enjoyed the place, had very good meals, and was surrounded by friendly and attentive staff. The team at Avalon took great care of my father’s needs, provided comfort, and were excellent at communicating with me as well.

Our mother passed away at the Avalon Memory Care facility in Lewisville back in July 2022 (under very controversial circumstances). Although there is still a pending investigation, I am being asked to leave a review by their admissions manager. So, unfortunately, I would NOT recommend Avalon Memory Care for your loved ones.

Kudos to all the staff at Avalon, we are blessed to have our mother at such a caring facility. Everyone seems particularly attentive to the needs of all the patrons there, and they all seem to work very well together as a team. I recommend Avalon Memory Care in Lewisville every opportunity I get.
