AVALON MEMORY CARE

Avalon memory care in Irving took amazing care of my grandmother. She was in bad shape before we moved her there. They were very attentive to all the residents and kept a close eye on them. My grandmother was always clean, fed and taken care of. They take the residents outside to get fresh air and also have entertainment. The place is really secure as well. I wish I would have moved my grandmother in sooner! When it was time for hospice, they worked well with the hospice care. Communication was great. Facility was always clean. Thank you so much for taking care of my grandmother while she was there!

My brother became a resident of Avalon Memory Care on March 15, 2024. He has received excellent 24/7 care. I have witnessed the staff treating him and other residents with a great deal of respect. Whenever I communicated a need for him, it was quickly met. He was quickly referred for Hospice Care and was able to receive the medical care that he needed. Sadly, my brother passed away on August 12. He died in the early morning hours and while I was not there, a staff member sat with him until he passed into his Savior’s arms. I gladly recommend Avalon care to anyone who needs a place for his/her loved one with dementia.

Our mom was struggling with confusion and anxiety. The staff at Avalon were kind and attentive to her ever-increasing needs. The director was especially helpful in advocating with hospice when a crisis arose. We had peace of mind knowing that our mom was in a safe environment receiving better care than we could provide on our own. We are grateful to Avalon and their staff.

My mother has been at Avalon Irving since September of 2020. She is 95 years young. I’ve found the staff to be very understanding of her needs. She loves to help out and they provide her small opportunities where she can help. She is always telling me how much she loves the staff and enjoys the food. When possible visiting on the patio is very nice and peaceful. I’ve been extremely please with the neatness of the facility. I’d recommend it for your loved ones.

The staff at Avalon truly loved my mother. They took very good care of her for two years up until she passed. My mother was always clean and for the most part happy. The staff was always helpful, answered many questions and filled my many request. No one can take care of your loved one better than you but these people are the next best thing!
