Avamere at Cheyenne

Nancy was a great resource. Perfect person to have in that position. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all questions and explained options. This was the 5th of 6 facilities I picked to check out for my mother-in-law and Nancy made it the best of all 6. Not immediately, but in the next few months, I will be working towards a placement for my mother-in-law and will contact Nancy again.

I have lived here just over two years and I find it has great employees. I especially would like to complement Debbie, who is a server in our Dining room. She does outstanding work getting things done for the residents and she is always cheerful and talkative. When you place an order with Debbie, she gets it back to you very quickly. I appreciate that Debbie is always in a very good mood, which is very important here as we are mostly quite elderly and it’s always nice to see a smile.

A wonderful property. Caring staff. Events/Crafts/Live music/Outings, and the list goes on. Avamere is more like a destination resort. The dining room is an especially extraordinary place. Food & Beverage is already difficult enough, but the kitchen staff is accommodating, personable, patient, and most importantly, the food's pretty darn good 👍 Thanks for taking care of my Aunt Barbie. Peace of mind is priceless..

I’m really disappointed with the experience at this assisted living facility. Communication with staff was consistently slow, and it often felt like no one was on the same page about my loved one’s needs. The overall environment didn’t feel as warm or organized as we expected, and basic requests took far too long to be addressed. For the amount they charge, I expected much better attention, responsiveness, and professionalism. I would recommend touring carefully and asking a lot of detailed questions before choosing this place. The employees are great and very on top of everything, it’s management that’s very questionable and sketchy

My grandfather moved in a month ago and we are very pleased. The staff is eager to be helpful and make us feel welcome. Avamere feels like a home with lots of friendly people and positive energy. There are numerous outdoor, shaded and furnished patios. His room is spacious and bright. Maintenance and housekeeping keeps the place in good order. They have a nice variety of entertainment. The food is excellent. Free lunch BBQ"s on Friday's for family and friends. Visiting our loved one there has been something we look forward to doing.
