Avamere at Sandy Assisted Living Facility

I cannot say enough about how nice the staff and facilities here are! The staff is so kind and caring and work very hard to make the residents feel cared for, safe, and happy. My parents moved in about a year ago and it was the best thing that could have happened. The front desk person Kate is always welcoming and helpful. The manager Maddie is hands on and easy to communicate with. The food service crew is so kind, friendly, and efficient. They go out of their way to make the guests happy. The activity leaders are always doing things to help the guests enjoy their time here. The nurses and helpers are so caring and thorough. The staff that does maintenance and cleaning is wonderful. The facility always looks nice and has a good vibe. My dad unfortunately passed recently at age 88 and I cannot express how exceptional the compassion and caring and guidance of the staff here has been during this difficult time. My siblings and I are so grateful that our mom is here at Avemere at Sandy with these amazing people! I highly recommend having your loved ones cared for here!

I’ve lived here at Avamere at Sandy for almost a year and I am very well taken care of(when I need help!). I live in Assisted Living and my mother lives in Memory Care.. She is so happy here. She used to be very closed off, never came out of her room didn’t talk to anyone but sence she’s been here she’s happier and even starting to eat in the dining room with other people. She sits in the tv room and visits with people. This was the best choice we could have made.

I have never seen my father so happy! His life is full of exciting adventures now. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the facility always smells so clean. I am a nurse myself and I am very impressed with the care here :)
