Merry Christmas to Valerie and her team. I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt gratitude to Ridge at the Stratford for taking care of my mother who was in urgent need of respite care. The personal touch shown by Valerie remains in our hearts as we were able to make a quick decision based on the affordability and availability of this outstanding facility. Valerie (on a personal note) - Your care and efforts to make my mother's stay as comfortable as possible shows your amazing work ethic and love for what you do. May 2026 be an amazing year for you and your team. I will always be indebted to you for your compassionate and caring nature. With many thanks - Kunal

I have both my parents here for the last six months. The facility is flawless. My parents love the food and atmosphere is wonderful. The place is immaculate and the staff is on top of everything when they need help.

My sisters and I toured this facility in hopes of moving our Dad to live there. It’s clean, smells new, has incredibly authentically friendly staff and the apartments while small had the opportunity for personal touches. While this change isn’t happening soon I want to thank Valerie for her INCREDIBLE customer service acumen. She is truly the perfect person to navigate through the decision of change. Valerie is patient, personable, has a sense of humor and sincerely provided the best experience for us while considering The Ridge.

My aunt moved into The Ridge at Stratford a little over a month ago, and she is truly flourishing—it’s like she’s been given a second chance at life! The staff here are friendly, attentive, and really know their residents. Valerie, who gave us our initial tour, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and has continued to be a blessing even after move-in. Amy from the medical staff has assisted my aunt a few times and always treats her with dignity and respect, which gives our family great peace of mind. Aly, the event director, keeps the days engaging and fun with classic game shows, live music, pet visits, and more—there’s always something for residents to enjoy if they wish to participate. The facility itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the facilities manager is extremely responsive. Overall, I have complete trust that my aunt is being cared for and supported in a safe, welcoming environment. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

My mom lived here 3 months, couldn’t get her out soon enough. Had to speak to Mindy and the nurse on a few occasions as my mom’s levothyroxine was not given to her. The med tech was writing gave it, but still in the bottle!! The staff acknowledged this via email and in our conversations. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was till her TSH tested. Within a month and a half/two months living there her TSH went over 115!!! This caused what the doctors call encephalopathy a swelling of the brain. It’s all documented. Besides my moms issues, a lot of people smelled like pee. My mom was not being showered regularly, I would take her to my house to shower her. The staff was constantly fighting with each other and that trickled down to the residence. The residence meetings often complained about medication management issues. The environment was not a healing environment. Overall, a draining experience both emotionally and financially. Initially I asked for pet fee back and moving expenses, Mindy was supposed to get back to me and never did. I had no idea what was to come. At the end of the day, I also had to pay for a lot of extra therapy to get my mom better. Their actions really messed my mom up and that is why I am sharing. I was just grateful a place opened so I could move her out. If I could give zero stars I would. I don’t recommend the Stratford if your parent is not cognizant enough to mind for themselves and know the medication they are receiving.
