Avon Health & Rehabilitation Center

Was told on Tuesday by Eric that they had a room for my sister, then told on Wednesday morning they didn’t have one after my sister had to call him. He couldn’t even give us a courtesy call. Very unprofessional

I had no peace at this facility, staff members entering my room while I sleep, they came into my room to dump trash the cans over and over , the trash can had nothing in it but they still came into my room to check the can One staff member came into my room while I on the phone talking, she went into the bathroom, I asked her what she was doing in bathroom she said checking for trust as she walked out of my room. And the food selections was not what I wanted. The physical therapy was lacking structure. I do not recommend this place.

We would give Village of Avon 5 stars. Our Mother was a resident there for 22 months. She went in as an introvert and became a "social butterfly". Our sincere thanks to Eric and all the nurses and staff for taking such good care of our mom and making her feel at home. She was very happy there and loved all of you and that means so much to the family. Sincerely..the family of Alene Gibbs

We have been very happy with the care my father in law has received at Avon health and rehab. He was not in very good shape health wise when he came into the facility. We made a good choice by selecting Avon health and rehab as our father in laws new home almost 2 years ago and because of the care he receives there, we believe he is still alive. Thank you for loving him like you do! The facility is clean and the rooms are newly remodeled. Very nice!!!

My Aunt was a patient at Avon Health and Rehab on several different occasions. My aunt had Parkinson's and had a back injury from a fall. The staff were kind and helpful. I felt they were attentive to her needs. I could ask the staff questions, and they were always helpful. My aunt enjoyed being there as much as you could since it's not your home and your bed. She of course had her favorite nurses, but she liked them all. The facility has a pleasant calming effect when you are in the building. The residents like to sit around the fireplace an visit, as well as greet people at the front door. The front reception area is cute with it's farm town front porch look. As an EMT I am in many different facility' s and I can say that this is one of my favorites. It's clean and has no odors. The staff is friendly and welcomes their resident back. It's like their family member is back. I highly recommend Avon Health and Rehab.
