Our mom has been at Alameda Care Center since April of 2024. The staff is caring and extremely attentive to her care and well being. Caring for dementia patients is not easy, as no two patients are alike. The one thing that is consistent with all the patients is that they are require a tremendous amount of patience and care. The nursing staff and the CNA are always happy to help. It could have been something as simple as needing a missing sock or assistance in getting our mom cleaned up because she soiled her pants while we were visiting her. Our mom is always clean, groomed and well fed. Should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing their services, you will not find better care anywhere else. I say this because we have been at other facilities and none of them have the same level of care as Alameda Care Center.

My experience with this nursing home has been extremely disappointing. Many of the staff members I interacted with were unhelpful and came across as unprofessional. On several occasions, they seemed poorly trained and unable to answer basic questions about resident care. Their attitude was also very rude, making an already stressful situation even more upsetting. Families trust nursing homes to provide compassion, competence, and respect—and unfortunately, this facility fell far short of those expectations. I hope the administration takes serious steps to improve staff training and professionalism, because residents and their loved ones deserve far better.

Around 80 patients and less than 10 people to take care of them. Unprofessional and very rude to patients. In few words, do not take your loved one here. Very sad to see how they get treated here. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Can't speak for myself but as far as my partner is concerned who unfortunately has to be there right now the food is lousy and he's bored, not all guest rooms have televisions. There are obviously no activities because of COVID-19 I'm doing everything I can to make him comfortable but it's difficult. Since I can't enter the facility I went online only to find out it was a coat it outbreak in March which residents passed away. Not only is this difficult is very scary.

Staff was nice but my mother was found numorous times with a busted up face from being hit and I always got different excuses. Legs were always swollen from lack of movement. I would bring my mom clothes and blankets to never see them again and to think they could protect my mom from covid19? Nope. After being told she didn't have it she died next day from the virus along with 15 others without being treated. I never saw my mom again. I'm am outraged.
