My mother was basically kicked out of this place after a few years due to her dementia progressing and we only had 2 weeks to find her a place which was not easy. We were in shock and not much communication to us that she needed more long term care. They never helped me find her another place or gave suggestions or love and support to our family which I needed so bad at that time. They are short staffed especially on weekends if your loved one needs extra help. I had many calls during late hours of the night asking me to come help my mom because they couldn’t. The administrator and head nurse shared personal information about my mother to other family members without my permission and told them and my mother she had to move to skilled nursing care before I could even tell my own mother. Trying to explain that to my loving mother who has dementia and already confused was sooo hard. I should have been the one to explain that to her not them. In the end the experience was awful, traumatizing and disrespectful to my mother and our family. I’ve waited a few years to share my honest opinion as my mother passed in 2023. I hope things have improved and better at Azalea.

To Anyone Considering Azalea Hills, My father-in-law, lived at Azalea Hills for the last nine years and spent his final days there, and our family is immensely grateful for the exceptional care and compassion he received throughout his time. The staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and treated him with the utmost respect. They took the time to know John as a person, offering not only attentive care but also genuine kindness and warmth. Knowing he was in such caring hands brought us a deep sense of comfort and peace. Thank you, Azalea Hills Team, for your dedication and for treating John with such dignity over the years. We highly recommend Azalea Hills to anyone seeking a supportive, compassionate environment for their loved ones. We will forever be thankful. Wayne & Doris Hampton

My mother is a resident at Azalea Hills. They have gone above board to keep the residents and and staff safe and healthy during the pandemic. I’m thankful for the care we have found at their facility. My mom loves her nurses and the treatment she receives from the rest of the staff. Her rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained.

I lost my mother in July and head to place my dad and assisted living. We absolutely love Azalea Hills and my father is thrilled to to be there he has not complained one time. My mother is from that generation where she did everything for my dad she always prepared the meals, meat and potatoes. He has not complained about one meal he loves the food and he said the care and the attention to detail is like living in a five-star hotel! His needs and wants are never lacking! You kiss me peace and joy to know that he is taking care of each and every day! I passed by there twice a day and each time I think God for giving us such a wonderful place for my dad to live! Thank you Azalea Hills you all are amazing!

My parents lived at Azalea Hills for over 7 years. The nurses and staff were/are the best! They were kind, caring, loving and compassionate in all their dealings with Mom and Dad. The food was great with generous portions, always served hot. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving Dinners at Azalea...as I could not have done it better! After my father left, they were extra kind to my mother as this was the first time she was alone in 72 years! I would highly recommend Azalea Hills to anyone seeking an Assisted Living Home. They are the best!
