AZALEA MANOR PERSONAL CARE HOME

I called this morning to introduce my healthcare staffing agency and at the time I didn't know that who I speaking with was the administrator. She was extremely rude to me and customer service is a negative zero and I wish I could give it to her. She even laughed in my face and hung up the phone. Customer service is part of the business. She was extremely snappy. If you're loved one is there I would check. She's not a pleasant person.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this nursing home, and I was genuinely impressed by how clean, beautiful, and welcoming the inside of the facility was. From the moment I walked in, the environment felt calm, warm, and well-maintained. The hallways were spotless, the common areas were tastefully decorated, and everything had a fresh, well-cared-for feel. It was clear that the staff takes pride in keeping the facility in top condition for the residents and their families. I also want to recognize one of the nurses, Ms.Debra, who truly stood out during my visit. She was not only professional and attentive but also incredibly kind and compassionate. You could tell she genuinely cares for the residents and treats them with dignity and respect. Her warm demeanor made a lasting impression and brought a real sense of comfort and trust. 🫶🏾🙏🏾

Azalea Manor is amazing the staff is highly qualified for the residents care. Food is carefully planned and delicious. The new administrator brings over 25 years of experience and is a guardian angel to all residents and staff.

My mother seems to be content and happy at Azalea PCH. She says ,the food is good and is served in larrge portions. They play bingo 2x a wk, the staff is very nice, caring and competent. The residents are friendly as well. An over all nice, quiet and well staffed facility.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother was a resident here. They placed a catheter on her because they stated she needed extra help because they couldn't take her to the bathroom as she needed to go, that it "took too long". They would leave it so long that the catheter bag would overflow into the floor. She subsequently went into septic shock from the catheter not being properly maintained and died 6 days later. She was asking nurses for help and told them she needed a Dr. and I witnessed them telling her she was fine. She called 911 from her personal cell phone and was in respiratory failure by the time she made it to the hospital. Her death was preventable. Upon entering her room after her death, it was filled with feces and we found BOXES FULL of unused catheter supplies. Once we arrived at the hospital, doctors and social workers informed me this was not the first time they had something like this from this facility. The owner, Sherry, is very welcoming upon touring, but turns into a nasty, cold person when your loved one has any issues. They claim to have a chef, yet naked hot dogs is a regular dinner occurance. I heard my mother be sworn at my nurses, and also had marks on her many times from them being extremely rough with her. Please find ANYWHERE else to place your loved one. They will not be treated with dignity or respect, and my mother paid the ultimate price with her life. Do not let this facility fool you. I would not wish the kind of treatment she received there on my worst enemy. They typically don't have more than 2 staff on EVER for 30-40 residents. I entered the facility more than once to find all on site staff members outside smoking cigarettes while residents roamed and went out the front doors.
