AZURA MEMORY CARE OF STOUGHTON

It's very hard to finally come to conclusion that your loved one needs some additional care. After many visit and reviewing places we decided on Azura in Stoughton which I'm so glad we did. My father received great care and everyone working there were so friendly and kind. I looked forward to seeing them each time. I worked a lot with Tracy and she was exceptional, she always was updating me on how he was doing. They were always doing fun activities throughout the day which my dad seemed to like.

I call my mom regularly at Azura in Stoughton, the staff has always been friendly and attentive and have gotten to know me over the phone. My mom moved to Azura from another facility and the difference was very noticeable as she was so much happier. I live in North Carolina and have not been able to visit until a few weeks ago as my mom turned 100 years old at the beginning of November. My wife and I were greeted warmly and when I said we were there to see my mom Cindy asked if I was Dan, she expressed joy to finally meet me in person as was I to meet her. This experience was repeated over and over as we met more of the staff. Without asking this staff decorated and celebrated a fantastic birthday party for mom delicious cake included. What a wonderful experience. My wife worked in nursing homes for years and this facility is the best we’ve ever been to. Thanks to all the staff at Azura you’re the best.

Azura is a wonderful place for your loved one! We moved our mother to Azura Stoughton a few years ago after she spent some time in a different facility. At Azura our mother is happy, eating and well taken care of. Azura is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful in their care, communication and working with us to meet the needs of our mother. Good care facilities are extremely hard to find and I’m so happy we found Azura.

Azura Memory Care in Stoughton is absolutely an amazing place. Our mother lived there for 4 years and they took exceptional care of her. Each and every staff member was wonderful. As a Registered Nurse for over 35 years, I truly know what it takes to advocate for individuals & their families. Azura did just that with their compassionate care for our mom. I was guardian for my sister-in-law for 9 years. She was in memory care units for 8 1/2 years with Alzheimer’s. I was very unhappy with the first facility I picked. I could write pages about why I was unhappy. Luckily we found Azura for her last 30 months and she still had money so she could move. Jeannie was Korean so very tiny. Right away Tracy the director ordered a shorter toilet and lower bed, that would accommodate her better. All the staff including cooks and maintenance are trained in dementia care. It is so obvious that they understand the disease. The staff are treated well and like their jobs. The other place she lived in, it was a revolving door. They weren’t trained and they didn’t stay. People with dementia need consistency and daily routines. Azura is very homelike, warm and inviting. The meals feel home cooked I loved how they allowed Jeannie to have her stuffed dog, who she thought was real. Later she had a baby doll that she thought was real. The staff understood the importance of the dog and baby to her. I could go on and on. I saw terrible care, so I recognized the extra mile that Azura goes for their residents.
