Terrible experience. Met a woman named Kyani or what have you. A very unpleasant experience and this young lady should not be working in the helping or caring field. I’m not sure if this establishment vets their staff and if they do they surly do not have a dress code. I simply wanted to find a place for my husband who is declining in health. I am expected to leave him there with a woman in clothes far too tight, considerably too much make up, a tongue ring, piercings out the wazoo, and cleavage just right there for my husband to see every day. Very disappointed in this very cheap and unprofessional looking staff, for the money they are asking for I do not see how they sleep at night.

I have visited several assisted living facilities in the area and the Oaks is by far the best. My siblings and I have been looking for a place for our mother and we absolutely love this place. The staff is so welcoming. The facility is clean and the residents look happy. For starters, we were given a tour by Nicole, the administrator, and she was amazing. She was able to explain the whole move in process and there was no pressure. Other places made us feel as though it was all about the money. They made us feel as thought we had to choose right then. She genuinely cared about what was best for our family. We were able to see the residents in memory care during activities and they were super excited. It was nice to watch the activity coordinator, Brittany, engage with the residents. While we were there, my mother was able to get an assessment done by the wonderful nurse, Tiffany. My mother absolutely loved her. She was patient and explained things in a way that made mother feel like they were just having a normal conversation while she was doing her assessment. All in all, this place and the people definitely leave an impact on you. Sadly to say, our mother was not quit ready to give up her independence. When and if that time comes, Oaks we will see you then!

As soon as you walk in it’s clear that this is a joyful home. I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with everything here, especially the team and the incredible activities they offer. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be active, supported, and truly valued this is it. The leadership here has created something special, and the entire team brings it to life every day.

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL campus. It is clean and doesn't have that typical assisted living smell to it. The residents are well cared for. Admin is super friendly, especially Nicole. The Memory Care activities director, Brittany, is absolutely AMAZING. She cares about her residents and does everything possible for them, as do the caregivers and other admin. I 100% recommend The Oaks at Aiken to anyone that is looking for a place for their selves or their loved ones!

I scheduled a tour where both Sarah and Nicole entreated me and my daughters with the southern hospitality that those of us of the South have come to know. They were very understanding of the delicate nature of needing to transition my 85 year old grandmother to a place where she can not only get the assistance that she needs, but to be in a place that she can feel comfortable enough to call home. I was guided through the tour and took notice of how the residents interacted with each other and with the staff. I viewed layouts that might best suit my family member and the many amenities that The Oaks at Aiken could offer. When I finished the tour, I along with my daughters were filled with joy at the idea that this community had the potential for our loved one to call home too. Every question was answered and no detail was overlooked as they patiently addressed all of my concerns regarding this new phase of life for my grandmother. Thank you to staff and the residents for allowing us to come and view up close and personal how you all thrive at The Oaks. With appreciation, -L.Samuel
