The place is lovely and the staff that handles you family member is very helpful and nice but that is where it ends! Management and facility maintenance is absolutely horrible! She went weeks with out TV access (she's 89 and likes her TV) which is part of your rent, I had work orders entered at the front desk. Her dryer has not worked in 3 weeks yes another work order was done at the front desk. Here's the kicker! The door to her apartment is locked and unlocked by a fob and two weeks ago My did not work and neither did hers so down to the front desk to have them reset, it didn't work and because the sensor is not working my mother's door to her apartment is unlocked at All times! Anyone can walk right in! How is that for safety of your loved ones? I did at least two work orders at the front desk then emailed Dee the director. No calls no emails no response! This place is not a place to put your family they are certainly in this for the money! Again the working staff and the nurses are fantastic to her but the maintenance and management teams are garbage! Do your self a favor and stay away and be careful this company owns other senior living places in the area! For your family's sake do your research. As of last week all of the issues I stated in this post have been resolved. So sad that I had to crush them on google to get things done.

It's a jail for old folks. Want to make dinner for your parent? You can't even microwave a pizza. Room cleaned? Twice a month. Why is there poop everywhere?! Better open doors with your elbows. When was the last time your parent had a shower or changed clothes? You better show up and do it yourself. Dietary restrictions? IGNORED! Nurses? On. Their phones and exasperated by having to work. Find somewhere else. Over priced and underserved.great place if you have a grudge and an old folk to screw over. Staff talk down to paying children instead of being accommodating. I've never heard anything suicidal from my mom until she got here. And treatment? Psycolgical or physical treatment (diaria every twice an hour for months)? NOPE! RUN

The people make this community a wonderful place to live. I've been to every Senior Living in the area and they all look and feel like senior living, but this is more like an upscale hotel. When I walked in the front door there was a large Bistro area, and it just kept getting better from there. I met my uncle in the dining room for lunch. The servers were nice, and the meal was delicious, and I met the Executive Director when she stopped by our table. This community just has a different feel to it than the other places we had looked at before my uncle moved here. I highly recommend this community to anyone that doesn't want to live somewhere they feel like they're in senior living.

From the moment we walked into The Barclay Senior Living, it just felt right. Miss Tiffany at the front desk was kind and welcoming, and every staff member we met treated us like family. You can tell they truly care about the people who live there. My dad has settled in better than I ever expected. He’s comfortable, smiling more, and finally feels at home. The place is clean, warm, and full of good energy. I’m so thankful for everyone at The Barclay — they’ve made what could’ve been a tough transition into something really special.

My Mother in Law has lived here since the building opened in early 2022. While they’ve seen changes, we have always felt that she’s a valued member of the community. She enjoys all the activities and current staff are doing extremely well. We have been very pleased overall. Thank you.
