Would never recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one who actually needs assistance. My mother-in-law declined rapidly after living there! She now resides at a new memory care facility in Hopkinsville and is night and day better!!!! She even recognizes that people there actually care about her. Barkley Plantation is poorly run by an Administration that admits the staff is lazy.... and staff that admit they don't know how to care for dementia residents. They did not clean her room as agreed and did not even ensure that she made it to the dining room to eat several times.
