They took great care of my mom. They only take a few people at a time which means they get one on one care. The staff is warm and friendly.

Our mother was a resident for 2.5 years. Staff was caring, attentive and patient. She was treated with dignity and compassion. They were always aware of and monitored her water intake. Excellent attention was paid to her cleanliness and hygiene. She never once had to be taken from the facility for medical care. No UTIs, sores, etc. Staff accommodated the nearly daily visits from family/friends.

Shelia and her staff at Barrett Regency are amazing!! They provided our dad with top-notch care right up to the end of his life. It was impressive and comforting that three of the staff members are nurses, including Shelia. Barrett Regency feels like home! The home and everyone there are very warm and inviting. It was so comforting knowing our dad was provided with the care he deserved. We never worried while he was there. It is very hard to find good elderly care. Our dad was very comfortable and happy during his time with Shelia and her staff. We would highly recommend Barrett Regency for your loved one!

Sheila and her staff took care of my mom for several months while my mom battled Lou Body dementia. They took such great care of her during this challenging time. They are so good with their residents. They offer great medical care while at the same time making their clients feel like they’re living at home. We are so grateful for all they did for my mom. We definitely recommend them for your loved one.

Our mom was a resident of Barrett for 4 years. We had her in several larger facilities and she did not do well, and she excelled here due to the one-on-one care. Barrett Regency provides individual care for its residents. Staff is caring and held to a very high standard of care by owners; Sheila, RN and husband, Tom, who are very involved in the day-to-day care of their residents. Mom came to Barrett in a wheelchair and very weak in her lower extremities. Tom had her up within her first week and worked with her on strengthening until she was able to ambulate on her own with a walker. Sheila loved our mom like her own and took exceptional care of her. Our mom received loving care throughout her entire stay and was treated with respect and dignity by both the owners and the support staff. We are grateful to Sheila, Tom and their staff at Barrett for providing our mom, who suffered from dementia, the best possible care during her stay which included some very difficult times.
