I cannot say enough great things about the staff! The team at Bayshore are amazing. Every single time I visit they LITERALLY roll out the red carpet. The community is absolutely gorgeous and you can feel the love in the building the moment you walk through the doors. Ten out of ten!

Bayshore Memory Care I am writing to formally express my serious concerns regarding the treatment my mother has received at Bayshore Memory Care since her admission in November 2025. I am deeply disappointed by both the unprofessional behavior of the administrative staff and the apparent lack of quality care provided to residents. During my initial visit, I was greeted by the Director, whose demeanor was unprofessional and rude. While I was speaking with my 96-year-old father, the Director abruptly interrupted our conversation without courtesy or respect. This initial interaction set a troubling tone for the facility, particularly as the Director’s attitude reflects the leadership culture of the organization. I then met with the Director of Wellness, who was also dismissive and unwelcoming. She informed me that I would need to call in advance before visiting my mother, which made me feel as though I was visiting a correctional facility rather than a care home. Additionally, the caregiving staff, many of whom have poor English communication skills, often struggle to provide clear information or assistance. This language barrier severely impacts residents’ care and family communication. During a recent visit, I called ahead as instructed. Upon arrival, the receptionist claimed my mother might be having lunch. When I looked for her, however, lunch was clearly over. After asking around, one elderly wellness staff member told me my mother might be in the activity room—she was not. Eventually, a caregiver was summoned to unlock my mother’s door—and to my distress, that’s where she was. It is deeply concerning that staff members are unaware of residents’ whereabouts at any given time. Furthermore, my mother was hospitalized only two months after her admission, which raises additional concerns regarding the adequacy of her daily care and supervision. I am requesting a thorough internal review of the care practices, staff professionalism, and communication protocol within your facility. I also want a written explanation of the steps that will be taken to ensure my mother—and all residents—receive the quality care and respect they deserve. This experience has been both disheartening and alarming. Based on what I have witnessed, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Bayshore Memory Care to other families until substantial improvements are made.

My mother-in-law lives in an independent condo association in Naples. She failed a cognitive test, and the condo association required her to have 24 nursing care. My wife and I felt it was best to move her to a memory care facility. We chose Bayshore as it is a very nice and well cared for place, and the people we spoke to were very helpful. A week before my mother-in-law was to move, we gave Bayshore $15,800 ($4,000 community fee, the rest for a month and a half for the care). But then my MIL refused the move, and her condo gave her another cognitive test and said she passed and was now in full control of her affairs. So, we had to cancel the move to Bayshore. Bayshore informed us that we might get less than $1000 returned to us. We are not asking for the entire amount returned, but at least the community fee. Bayshore will not even speak to us, and we tried the Better Business Bureau, and they refused to answer them. So, our advice is to not give Bayshore any money until the last possible moment, because if anything changes, you will not see your money again.

I had a terrible experience at this facility with a nurse his name is Steven. I had a client that was dr ordered to take to medications one oral and the other topical . He refuse to administer the topical on pt. When I tried asking about giving pt med. He got very upset with me and started yelling at me in a room full of residents stating that I am not his boss and he is not given him the medication. After calling vitas nurse and them calling and telling him to give med . He did not do so. Pt fell into went and ask the nurse Steven to help me He then in turn Slammed the door in my face! At night you can not find the c.n.a any where. If you do they are sleeping under a blanket. Do NOT DROP YOUR LOVE ONE OFF HERE.!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS THREATED THAT IF I WROTE MY HONEST REVEIW I WOULD BE BLACK BALLED IN THE CAREGIVING FEILD. DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!!

I moved my husband to Bayshore Memory Care after 3 months at another facility. What a drastic difference! After more than 19 months here, I am thoroughly pleased and very grateful that he is receiving exactly the level of care that he needs and that I expect from a memory care facility.
