BEACHWOOD COMMONS ASSISTED LIVING, LTD

This 5 * review is mainly for Shamika, the activities director, at Beachwood Commons. She is the BEST part of Beachwood Commons!!! She truly cares about the residents. She plans activities that are fun, entertaining, interactive, and appeal to many. She is a vibrant, fun, kind, caring person who calls everyone by their name. You can tell she has a healthcare background by her caring, empathetic, patient and humane approach to the residents. She speaks to them, hears them, interacts with them, and makes them feel special. When my mom first moved in, we were lost. She was one of the first people that stopped by her “apartment” to welcome her and explain how the activities portion of her stay, worked. She then became our go to with the many questions we had (sorry Shamika!!). She answered so many of our questions, and gave us the names of those who could help us in specific areas/with specific requests. If we asked her something, she helped or told us she would find out, and actually followed through; not the usual “we don’t know….we’ll look into it,” and then radio silence. Beachwood Commons, we hope you know what a treasure you have in Shamika, and keep her around for a long time! She truly is one in a million (we love you Shamika)!!

Beachwood Commons is the best place in the Cuyahoga county. They not only gives you a excellent accommodations but food is restaurant quality. The help is very very loving and kind makes you feel like it's a family here. The housekeeper is so sweet and helpful. The activities director is a lot of fun and very tentative to your needs. Chef K and the cook Zoe are experienced in the restaurant business. The food is excellent. All my guests says this is great food. The med passers are very friendly and professional. The Executive Director Ashley is always caring and concern for us residence. Dajuan our maintenance help takes care of our needs. Unless I need a nursing home this is the home that I will stay at.

Beachwood Commons is a really nice place. The building is clean and comfortable, and it feels like home. The nursing staff are great, they are friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They make sure everyone is safe and happy. I would definitely recommend Beachwood Commons to anyone looking for a good place with kind people.

i’ve had a wonderful experience with Beachwood Commons by New Perspective. the community itself is warm and inviting, but what really stands out is the staff. everyone is so pleasant and welcoming! they are ALWAYS going out of their way to make sure residents and families feel comfortable. especially the nursing staff! they’re outstandingly caring, attentive and compassionate in everything they do. truly a supportive, caring community. 5 stars!
