We had a wonderful stay at Bear Lake Lodge B&B. The location is beautifully secluded, offering a peaceful escape with stunning surroundings. The lodge itself was spotless and well-kept, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable which was exactly what we needed after a day of exploring. Breakfast each morning was delicious and clearly made with care, a perfect way to start the day.

I’d you’re thinking of staying in Seward for all it’s splendid wildlife then stay amongst it instead of in the town! Bear Lake Lodging is only 10 Mins from town yet feels like a world away being on a serene and quiet lake with canoes for you to take to the water and explore. The rooms are beautifully decorated as was the spacious bathroom complete with a bath perfect for a soak after a cold day out. The breakfasts are filling and freshly prepared by the wonderful ladies who look after the lodge. It was so lovely getting to know the other guests with a wine in the evenings as well and we even cooked up some salmon we had caught to share with a couple one of whom was celebrating his birthday that night! It really felt like you are staying with friends in a private home. Book early as it’s very popular!

Lovely lodge. Quiet. The lake setting is just what our family was looking for. My son said "it feels like a fun summer camp!" food was great. The kayaks and paddle boards were included with our stay, it was nice just to use them at our own convenience. Staff were so down to earth and knowledgeable about the area. Cannot recommend it enough. We will return. FYI...drive slowly around the neighborhood we had two moose in the street as we were approaching. One mama and her baby. :)

We stayed here for 2 nights in a room at the top and really liked it. Very comfortable beds and warm and cosy blankets. The breakfast was also good and we even got something to go prepared as we had to leave early for an excursion on one day. Both sky and Bre were very kind hosts and Bre gave us lots of recommendations and a discount for the northwestern fjord tour.

We took 12 students to Seward who were enrolled in an "Introduction to Maritime Trades" class. It was so fun to have a common space for the students to hang out at the lodge, while they also had the option of having space in the comfortable and quiet rooms. Bre was so awesome with making us feel welcome, and put so much thought into setting up the rooms for our students. We would love to stay here again on the next trip!
