BEAVER DAM AL OPERATIONS LLC

My grandma is a resident here at this facility, and I went to visit her the other day and came home with BED BUGS!! I know it was this place that gave them to me because I’ve heard conversations about BED BUGS happening between other residents in the building and have even seen the bed bugs MYSELF!! I am truly disgusted with this facility and it 100% NEEEDSS a welfare check! and the shortness of care givers in the night time IMPECCABLE! My grandmother always complains about the lack of care givers during the night. Would you like to feel neglected and have bugs biting you all day? NO so why treat your residents this way?! Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Honestly I was a little worried at first as this place didn't have the greatest reviews.. but I liked what I saw so I decided to give this place chance and I got to say they really stepped up there game was pleasantly surprised how much the admin really cared and knew what was going on with each patient and the day to day itinerary almost like he lived at the actual facility definitely wouod recommend!! And how can I forget Brenda she was so good as was the rest of the nursing staff!!

The staff at the facility deeply care about the needs of the residents and maintaining adequate care for all the residents. They are always looking to make sure that the residents are getting the appropriate care and do their best to resolve any issues or problems that arise. The Director of nursing and clinical staff are very knowledgeable in their area of expertise and are always striving to improve quality of life and care. The administrator and management staff are dedicated to their residents, making sure they have a good quality of life, that they are safe and in good health providing the residents with a feeling of family throughout the facility.

I AM DISGUSTED that after the STATE FOUND neglect of my loved one, causing her death due to an constantly ignored infection...that a close friend's family member has been placed in this nursing home...and the neglect never stopped. Elderly man placed at this facility for rehabilitation after a heart surgery. Was being left in bed. Occupational therapy was being done via zoom, and billed to Medicare as a 2 person therapy (Medicare Fraud). Was taken off his DOCTOR PRESCRIBED pain medications by onsite nurse practioner (who the nursing home REFUSES to name, even to the county), and ended up in the Emergency Room due to excruciating pain. (We believe it was done retaliatory because the legality/efficiency of the Zoom occupational therapy was questioned by a retired OT Therapist of 26 years) Medications just not being given. Conversations with other LUCID patients, and family members also complaining of mistreatment, neglect, and missing medications. All residents and family members afraid of retaliation if they report 4 nursing homes in Milwaukee MANAGED by the same company "BEDROCK HEALTHCARE GROUP" were just put into state receivership due to 384 for deficiencies including related to a death of a resident...and a sexual assault of another. (RELATED NEW ARTICLES FOUND BY GOOGLING 'BEDROCK HEALTHCARE GROUP' Your organization should be ashamed on how you hurt, take advantage, and neglect your residents!!! I pray this place is finally SHUT DOWN as it should be!!! The above situation Has been turned into the County, and State! Everyone who has had this type of experience with this nursing home, whether it be personally or witnessing as a family member NEEDS TO REPORT IT!!! Someone needs to stand up for these victims!!!
