Great smaller facility for better individualized care with caring staff that have a lot of experience. Each resident has their own room with bathroom. Activities included every week that are engaging and fun. Facility is excellently run with attention to detail. Dont pass on this place!

My Mom has been at Bedford for over a year . The owners , Dee and AK treat the residents like family. They’re giving, tender hearts, recruit the most wonderful caretakers. My mom has been at other group homes, and nothing compares to the level of care she gets here . Her hair is always brushed , she is clean , her room and all the facilities are clean and Mom is happy . That is what matters the most! I cannot say enough about the fabulous staff at Bedford .

My mom was at Bedford Residences for a couple of months at the end of her life. What a God sent facility! The love, care and respect that was given to my mom is hard to find in assisted living facilities but here it was demonstrated everyday. The owner, Dee, was on site and accesible at all times. She and her staff were all very loving and knowledgeable. The small and personal care facility is spotless and well taken care of. One of my fondest memories during this difficult time was sitting with my mom in the beautiful grounds under a huge tree. I would highly recommend the Bedford Residences to anyone going through the most difficult decision of deciding where to place a loved one.

Dee and all of the staff, as well as the facility at Bedford, are simply remarkable. I learned of Dee through a referral service and was very nervous about placing my mother in such a facility. The referral service provided great counsel regarding my mother's care needs and invited me to visit with Dee. The Bedford staff made me feel incredibly relieved and confident in their care for my mother after seeing them with not only my mother, but also the other residents. Dee is a former pharmacist and understands medicine. She is also incredibly compassionate, leading her staff to care for the residents and family the same way. If you are considering a residential care facility for your elderly family, I can't imagine making a higher recommendation than to trust Dee and her staff at Bedford.

I can only speak wonders of Bedford Residence. After several unsuccessful trials with my mother who has frontal lobe dementia and hard to please, Bedford Residence has been an absolute godsend. Unlike so many other living options we've looked at and tried, it is a small family-run intimate setting situated in two houses with lovely trees and outdoor space, very much like one's own back yard, and the atmosphere and care is everything I wish I could have given to my mother myself. There are around just sixteen residents which allows for exceptional service. The dedicated management and staff pay attention to my mother's every need, and my mother who is very picky only speaks most highly of them. My mother's health and morale has more than improved since being there. She is stronger, has a huge appetite and is much more sociable than when she was living at home. Not only does Bedford Residence have wonderful staff on site, they have a great network of physicians, nurses and physiotherapist, also hairdresser and manicurist, who come on a regular basis. The staff pay attention to my mother's every need, likes and dislikes, and have exceeded my expectations in accommodating and caring for her. And, so important, the all-inclusive monthly fee is fair and square.
