As we move through the holiday season and reflect on all that we're thankful for, our family has included Bee Hive Homes this year. Although it was a difficult decision to move our Mom, she has been a member of the Bee Hive family for 9 months now. The loving care and environment are exactly what she needed. We're so excited to see photos on FB of her involved in making crafts, celebrating holidays and birthdays, folding laundry, helping cook, and even exercising. Bee Hive was absolutely the perfect choice, and Mom has been blessed by the loving workers. Thank you, Bee Hive!

BeeHive Homes of Lewisville Old Town Memory Care is by far the golden gem of care facilities. I moved my mother there in June from another facility when an opening became available, best move for both of us! The team at BeeHive are ALL caring, loving and very patient. They style her hair, paint her fingernails and have her participate in crafts and baking even when she doesn’t want to, just to name a few things. They also encourage exercise. When my Mom arrived she was wheel chair bound due to circumstances from the other facility, this team has her learning to use her walker again with just love, patience and encouragement. This quality of care isn’t just given to my Mom, it’s given to all BeeHive residents. When you come to visit you witness the happy vibe the whole house has which brings joy to me that my Mom is being so well taken care of. Thank you team BeeHive.

My Mother reached the point where care at home wasn't possible anymore. I'm so glad I found Lori Williams (Senior Services, LLC). She gave me her top recommendations and BeeHive in Old Town Lewisville was unsurprisingly one of them. BeeHive is the perfect fit for my Mother. Samantha was the main reason we chose BeeHive. She has been doing this for at least 8 years and still has the upbeat enthusiasm as someone just starting out. She is clearly passionate about what she does and the care for her residents. My Mom has been at BeeHive for a month now and I have discovered that everyone working there seems to be a mirror image of Samantha. I can't imagine doing this highly demanding job of caring for those in memory care, but they all do it in the most positive way. It was tough for my sisters and I to make the decision to trust the care of our Mother to others, but we sure lucked out here. Samantha and her staff at BeeHive made her feel part of the family from day one and they continue to care for her as if she were family. Samantha is always on top of health care services as well (a nurse practitioner visits once a month!) so she is very efficient to communicate needs for my Mom with both myself and the nurses office. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Chip. Chip is the owner of BeeHive and reminded my sister of our uncle and made her feel very comfortable. He is quick with responding and has been instrumental in assisting with VA assistance requirements that I have. It is tough to make the decision to put our loved ones into a facility, but BeeHive makes it feel more like an extension of home. From top to bottom, BeeHive is a fabulous place. Thank you to everyone there. You are all amazing!

When I started looking for a place for Mom I enlisted the help of a family friend, we looked for a place close to home. At the first place the Care Manager took us on a tour, as we entered the Memory Care Unit we found the Residents sitting in front of the TV and no one interacting with them. Everything she said about the care sounded good but never once asked about Mom's routines, likes or dislikes, etc... When we arrived at BeeHive we were directed to speak with Chip Tabor (Owner), we told him what we were looking for, unfortunately we were at the wrong BeeHive. He took time out of his busy schedule and drove us to his Memory Care Unit in Lewisville Old Town. We were met by one of the aides, she told us that John and Samantha would be with us shortly, She also ask if we would care for any refreshments. John (Co-Owner) and Samantha (House Manager) took the time to listen to us, asked questions about Mom and her life with Dad and some of the stories, they wanted to know Mom's routines, her likes and dislikes. They told us about their Mission and how BeeHive is a home where everyone is family and everyone is treated like their own family. We were taken on a tour, we saw residents sitting in the dinning area some painting and others playing games with the aides. Mom has been there a little over 2yrs and loving all the aides, she's made friends and has a good time. I am grateful to everyone who works there and for John and Samantha for being true to their words. It truly is a Home! Thank you to all of you!!! Nathalie

When mom had to go to a place that dealt with Dementia it was a challenge. The biggest blessing was finding Cornerstone, now BeeHive Homes of Lewisville Old Town. The whole staff is amazing. They helped mom through the different stages as well as helped our family cope with all the changes. We were there daily and became part of the BeeHive family as well as they became part of our family. I do not think that there is a better more qualified place. Mom went to Heaven over a year ago. We still go visit everyone at BeeHive. They are still our family. I don't think that there are very many places that are full of that kind of true love.
