I have a relative living here and she is not receiving the best care that she should. The staff has no Empathy for the residents. It is also very difficult to call the facility to speak with anyone on updates of your loved ones, as I am in CT. Yesterday took me calling 5 times before I connected. This also is not a clean facility. Very disappointed in the care, cleanliness and compassion that is not given to these residents.

This is a bare bones place, and I think many of the people here were on Mainecare, as my brother-in-law was. I know that the people here were short staffed and often stretched to the limit, but they were absolutely fantastic to my brother-in-law for the final months of his life. Also very careful about Covid. The level of kindness is something we will never forget. I remember, one day, visiting my brother-in-law and him getting a haircut while the daughter of the haircutter painted the nails of a woman with dementia. It was just so sweet. The nurse also always called back even when it was clear she was overworked. And they gave him what he needed at the end of his life. Thank you, Jessica, Kerry, Jodi, and others.
