BELLA VILLAGGIO

From the moment I arrived at Bella Vallagio it was a positive experience. The place is clean, beautiful and has so many options available to seniors. My main contacts were Mary Kay and Nathan, who assisted me in the process of both selecting and placing my father into care at this location. The process was seamless. Both Mary, Kay, and Nathan are personable , kind, professional and knowledgeable people in the business. Nathan went above and beyond to always greet us and make us feel Welcome. He helped my dad transition and feel comfortable and welcome it Bella.If anyone is considering the options available in Palm Desert, this is a top-notch Facility who cares about its people. Staff is great, Hector in particular is always helpful! The only complaint is having to call the memory unit and wait so they can open the door. The doorbell doesn't alert them that someone is at that door and during the summer heat this can get pretty annoying.

If you are sick, Bella Villaggio is supposed to bring your meals up to your room. They have a very difficult time doing that, my mom had surgery and her friends and her family have to go by and bring the meals up to her, because Bella Villaggio is just unable to get enough staff to help out with that issue. Plus, some staff has been observed being very rude verbally to the residences. New update: You need to be aware that the menu in the restaurant has not changed in over a year. Just the same dishes over and over. Other places, quarterly or more often, update the menu items. Update to this review. Bella Villaggio has a new manager and she has made lots of improvements. They have added chairs and benches back in the hallways for the residents to stop and rest if need be, made improvements in the maintenance department, things are now taken care of in a day or two. The service and support has gone way down. It took them over 3 months to change a light bulb in the ceiling and over 6 requests to please change it. They used to have benches in the hall ways for the residents to rest on if needed, Bella Villaggio removed them and some residents have asked them to please add them back after 6 months they still have not added them back to the hallways. This is just two issues, they are more. Update: Bella Villaggio has a new manager and hopefully there will be a improvement in support/service. I will update at a later date.

My grandmother has had surgery and they were supposed to deliver all of her meals to her and every single time they have failed. We have given them notice that she had surgery and her return date from the hospital and having numerous conversations around expectations of her limitations. For those of you considering this place for your beloved parents or grandparents, please be aware that they put on a good show, but they failed to meet basic accommodations for the elderly.

I can't say enough about how amazing Villa Bellagio is. My 90 year old parents recently moved in and they've been taken care of from the get go. The staff and facilities are top notch and they genuinely care about their residents. I'm very glad my parents live there and I highly recommend Villa Bellagio to anyone looking for a senior living community.
