Bellaire at Stone Port

I can't even get a return call from sales after a week. Not impressed.

Beautiful place. Some of the staff are fantastic and really care. Maintenance and food service people are wonderful. Some of the aides aren't great; understaffed and don't respond quickly. Sometimes meds are late. No arrangements for helping get things like TV, phone, cable etc. Better than a lot of places, probably.

Can I give zero star? It started off great and went down hill. The problems and damage to parent's life is inexcusable. These should be their "golden" years. Of course we left. Why stick around for that treatment. Shame on Bellaire. Needless to say I'm pretty angry (for my parents) about the whole situation.

My mother has been at Bellaire since September. She has lived in NJ in the same home for 57 years, married 62 years when my father passed in 2020. She did not want to be here. I submit to everyone that the staff, the facilities, and the food at Bellaire are the best I have experienced. See Stanford, everything he says is sincere and positive. My mother is not an easy person, but even she reports to our family and friends how wonderful “this hotel” is.

My in-laws became residents at Bellaire in January before COVID. We are so happy that they were settled there during the times that we could not visit with them. They had just adjusted to their new surroundings when everything changed. It is apparent that the staff really cares about each one of residents. Every staff member puts forth more than their job requirements. I could name so many times that the staff including the Director, Assistant Director, Director of Sales and Marketing, nurses, aides, front desk, etc... have gone way above and beyond to make my in-laws happy and comfortable. The entire facility is clean, bright, beautifully decorated, and eludes a true warmth and a welcome, home-like atmosphere which is reasonably priced. The food is superb - who wouldn't enjoy seafood, prime rib, etc! If you are looking for that home-away-from-home for a loved one(s), this is it!
