BELMONT VILLAGE SUNNYVALE

We would like to share our experience with Belmont Village, Sunnyvale, CA. My parents were both residents for the last several years. The staff is so very kind, friendly, competent and caring. From my parents' earliest days living there, I was so impressed that every staff member knew all the residents by name! They get to know the family members as well, and always have a smile. There are many activities, field trips, movies, family parties, etc., so there is something for everyone to feel engaged. The facility is very clean, light, and bright, which was very important to me. Some places we looked at were a little depressing, so it was such a pleasure to tour and select Belmont. My Dad could not say enough about how wonderful the menu at Josephine's kitchen was each day, and particularly on holidays when so much care and attention went into making the meal special. The nursing staff in the Assisted Living section and Memory Care were so patient and compassionate. We truly appreciated the whole team at Belmont from the receptionists, restaurant staff, housekeeping, maintenance, PALs, nurses, activity directors, to management. Thank you for all you did for our family!

Our family moved my parents into Belmont village more than a year ago. We found the staff very attentive and accommodating for their varied needs. BV provides different levels of care depending on the resident’s needs. The caregivers develop special relationships with the residents. I see this across all the staff multiple times a week during my visits. When our mom passed away, the staff paid extra attention to my dad and alerted us when he was struggling and needed a little bit more attention. In the dining room, the wait staff calls residents by their names and remembers their different drink orders and favorite meals. As a visitor, they welcome you as well and engage with me regularly. On the Saturday before Easter, they had wonderful brunch buffet, an Easter egg hunt, and even an Easter bunny. One of their many celebrations throughout the year. Overall, we have been very pleased with Belmont Village for our family.

I have been very pleased with Belmont Village of Sunnyvale as a superior residence for my disabled husband. My husband is partially paralyzed. He cannot speak or write - he can only say one or two words. The staff has been compassionate and patient and they have learned to communicate with him. It was not a perfect stay at the beginning. But the senior staff listened to our concerns and worked diligently to resolve them. This is a good sign. Now my husband is very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well equiped with refrigerators, microwaves and large closets. And the food is varied and delicious. I would recommend Belmont Village of Sunnyvale as a trusted place for a loved one to live.

Belmont Village Sunnyvale has been a wonderful place to live for my step-father. He has been there 5 years now and has thrived. He particularly loves being involved with the community and interacting with the warm and helpful staff. He is kept busy with regular activities within the facility and by way of field trips all over the bay area. The wellness center also does a great job managing his diabetes and encouraging a regular exercise routine. The facility is clean, bright and safe.
