If you want to hear the fire alarm go off everyday then this is the place for you. There is never an emergency and the staff doesn’t inform you that it’s an accident or that it’s coming. The just pretend like it didn’t go off. Extremely dangerous for residents who are standing up and lose their balance from the loud alarm. The staff is also so very unqualified and negative. They hate their job and they make it obvious. You’re giving away money for nothing if you sign up here. Update - they continue to ignore the fire alarm. You would think they could invest money to upgrade the fire alarm system but it is no concern to them that the very loud fire alarm would go off all day and night. This is a serious hazard that means nothing to them.

appalling response times when staff contacted by resident. . .lots of screaming and shouting late at night.. .my friends are stunned by lack of decorum and respect

My grandmother lived here for a few years. The staff is remarkable. The dining hall always had decent food with very good service. Her additional help made her stay seamless so I subtracted a star because that was another expense that Belmont did not provide. I understand that Belmont should not be blamed for falling short of things that they do not offer but I’m still subtracting a star.

Mom moved to Belmont Village last October when we all realized she could not live alone anymore. After researching and visiting over a dozen facilities in the Dallas area, we knew Belmont was the best option. It looks and feels more like a luxury apartment building than an assisted living facility, with all the high-end services and amenities expected by Turtle Creek residents. Mom has a beautiful apartment with lots of windows and light. She enjoys the weekly exercise programs, especially Boot Camp, and meets twice a week with an on-site physical therapist as well. Of course, she still complains that she’s gained weight since coming to Belmont, because the food is so good! Overall we are all very pleased with Belmont Village and highly recommend it (or its sister facilities) to our friends who are looking at assisted living facilities for themselves or their loved ones.

Terrible! After two years years of regular complaints about assisted living care, we were forced to find a new property. Thankfully, we found a much better property. I still cannot believe the many issues we experienced with assisted living. The apartment was always filthy, laundry was questionable along with hygiene. Once incontinence set in, there were never sheets on the bed, dirty diapers left all over the apartment. UGH... the smell when you walked in the door. Sadly, the staff clearly never saw or smelled anything that raised an eyebrow. Why would two people with dementia in assisted living be allowed to walk out the front door when it is over 100 degrees out? This lead to a temporary experience with the memory care which was SCARY!!! The residents were sitting in a common area with little to no interaction or simulation and questionable music on the radio for this demographic. . The "sitters" didn't seem to do anything but sit around on their phones. Truly a terrible experience to see. Never did get an explanation for how do people in a secured environment get out? Why would memory care not encourage simple hygiene like bathing, clean clothes or pick up the dirty diapers is beyond me. Sadly I was caught up with the location and the shiny new property. They have so much to learn. Anyone searching for assisted living or memory care should think twice before talking with Belmont Village Turtle Creek.
