Excellent care for my mom. She loves the place and she can be very picky at times. The staff does a great job. And they have a lot of activities and things for her to do.

Such a great group of caring people. I will miss our conversations. They were great with my stepdad. Many activities for the residents and the place is absolutely beautiful.

Great facility. They have helped my mother in-law for over 2 years thru her progression of aging. Staff & administration are compassionate, professional & caring. Facility offers a variety of activities & services for the residents.

Overall, we believe our Mom received good care at BSL. They were aware of her physical and mental vulnerabilities and attentive to them. If you are considering becoming a resident of this facility, there are a few things you should be aware of. - If the resident uses Depends and/or Boost, keep on top of the inventory. When our Mom passed, she had 18+ cases of Boost and 20+ packs of Depends remaining for a total of $1070+. BSL did not notify us of the excess so we could stop the automatic order. - If the resident is getting dementia, remove all valuables from their body and room. Mom's amethyst ring was not returned to us with her wedding ring after she passed. We are suspect of a dishonest employee. We learned some tough lessons and don't want you to suffer like we have after Mom's death.

The staff are great - very responsive, compassionate and thoughtful. I have the utmost confidence in them. BSL offers plenty of activities to choose from, the food is good, facility is beautiful. I wouldn't want my Mom to be anywhere else.
