Jessica is amazing, Karla has a heart of Gold. Daniel is the best nurse assistant hands down. The place was my home for 9 months and helped me recover and I was able to walk out. Thank you to the amazing staff.

My mother-in-law was there just shy of 7 yrs. Started in the front then last 3 1/2 yrs in memory care. Some staff through the years were great other not so much. I highly recommend putting a camera in the room, even if your loved one has their mind about them. I found so much neglect, from not feeding her, to not checking on her for hours and she was hanging out the bed. I could write a book on the horrible things we saw through the years. When she was dying we went in to see her and staff knew to keep checking on her. Our camera showed the 11-7 staff never went in for 3 hours and when they finally did she was gone. They are understaffed for 2nd and 3rd shift. The Opal company is horrible, all they want is the money. Can't stress enough no matter where you put your loved on get a camera and monitor it daily.

Amazing staff and people. The staff really gets to know you and treats you like family. Very Clean and always improving. Daniel is an amazing CNA and cares so much about everyone and goes above and beyond on every shift. Jessica is an amazing leader with a huge heart. Would,and have recommend.

My Father In Law has been here about 3 weeks. He loves everything but the food...he says he doesn't like the food but he sure liked the desserts. We have seen nothing wrong and I honestly feel he is just adjusting to the meals. Today they had a Loual and it was absolutely amazing!! The staff went above and beyond! They cooked an entire pig, had a houla dancer and Hawaiian shaved ice...they really went all out!!

My Mother-in-Law is a resident of Belvedere Commons and I visit her regularly. The floor staff are great and do go above and beyond to help the residents and their family. Edith does a great job as concierge. Firm but friendly she keeps track of the residents and visitors. I have great confidence in Dusty and Alayah, they are truly dedicated and experienced nurses. Melanie (Mel) is the director is also very friendly and helpful. She is very dedicated to her residents and staff. When we had concerns about a rehab facility mom was in, Mel and Dusty engaged with the rehab and arranged for mom to return and receive physical therapy in Belvedere. Mom is now making progress. She has improved strength to get up and move around with her walker - thanks to the physical therapist and the staff's encouragement. I highly recommend Belvedere Commons Fort Walton Beach if you are seeking an assisted living setting for a family member.
