BENCHMARK AT ROSELAND (NJ07015)

I have to say that overall, I found this assisted living experience perfect for my dad who lived there for 2 years before he passed away. I will always be grateful for the care & compassion Angela Heaney , Lou & Judy Harney showed my dad during his time there. It gave me such comfort to know he was surrounded by people who truly cared about his well being. From the very beginning, all of the staff treated him with warmth, dignity and genuine kindness. I highly recommend Benchmark in Roseland should the need arise for you or your loved ones.

Update - Mom moved into Arbor in April. In October, Benchmark took over the facility. She is still receiving good care thanks to the aides and those who remain. However, as my name is attached to this review, and others may rely on it when looking into options for loved ones, I feel the need to update. It is not the same facility I previously reviewed. Three of the wonderful people who I mentioned below are no longer with the facility. Communication from Benchmark has been limited since the takeover. Memory care is expensive and I feel open, direct communication is imperative with family members. When looking for your loved ones - ask lots of questions, especially how they handle employment changes and announcements. My Mom has been in MC here for a few months now. The staff is so friendly and accommodating: from Charles the Maintenance Director, who assisted us with the move in and has gone out of his way to make mom's apartment comfortable and feel like home ever since, to all those who run the daily activities (Angela, Naima, Kate and Lou) who keep Mom busy and engaged all day long. Kerry, the MC Director, has helped make the transition as smooth as possible and is always available to answer questions. The staff always make you feel welcome and seem to truly care. I feel comfortable knowing Mom is in good hands here and I can have peace of mind.

The staff at Arbor Terrace Roseland are like no other! You can tell immediately when you walk through the doors that you’re welcomed and belong. The nursing and memory care teams are not only knowledgeable, but genuinely dedicated to making each resident feel safe, valued, and cared for. The community itself is beautiful and clean. There’s numerous engaging activities and opportunities to socialize as well. I 100% recommend - this is a place where you’ll have peace of mind and know your loved one is cared for!

This is an exceptional facility. The building and decor is beautiful but what matters most is the staff and the care they provide our senior family. This is the kindest and most professional facility I have come across! The folks who reside here are so well cared for and supported in every way. Everyone I have come across here is friendly, knowledgeable and has great communication. I would highly recommend Arbor Terrace Roseland.

It’s been about 4 months since my aunt moved into Arbor and overall, she’s very happy. The staff is pleasant, the food is good and she has made some nice friends. The maintenance director Charles is super helpful and he makes himself available even beyond business hours. Angela is head of activities and she is just a genuine and caring person. Overall, the experience has been very good and we are glad we chose Arbor Roseland.
