ADDISON OF FLORENCE-SENIOR LIVING IN FLORENCE SC

The residents that I saw were engaged, encouraged, and well presented. The Addison is top of the list.

The rate increases are driving everyone out. I’m not sure why the people can’t figure out that a facility with 20 something empty rooms has a problem and the solution is not raising rates by thousands of dollars a month on the remaining people. I talked to several residents about rate increases and they are all looking for another place to stay.

My stepmother lives here and loves it. Beautiful facilities and campus. The facility is pristenely clean. Common areas are warm and inviting. Individual rooms look like a mini-suite in a hotel. Staff is warm and friendly and it's obvious that they care about the residents.

I have found The Addison of Florence staff working in Magnolia Trails and management to be unprofessional and lack of respect for senior citizens wellbeing and their needs. I’ve had to ask repeatedly for housekeeping services and laundry services. Located in Magnolia Trails is an activity board. However, The Addison of Florence has no activity director in Magnolia Trails. Senior citizens has an option of watching television or going on the porch and no activities are planned for them. If you have a love one who is in need of assistance with memory support, don’t send your love one here. Reading company reviews are helpful because it minimizes making long-term mistakes,
