My mother needed to move from Florida to nearby me in Grayson. Lourdes helped me navigate this big change for my mother, and she and Christine connected all the dots for us as we figured out how to make it all work. They even lent me a bed to sleep on the first night when we arrived in the middle of the night due to a last minute change of plans so that my mother wouldn’t be alone. Talk about going above and beyond. Lourdes had a personalized care basket for my mother and keeps tabs on her to make sure she continues to be happy and healthy. I cannot thank them enough for all that is done for my mother. They don’t just talk, they follow through and demonstrate true care for their patients. Lourdes is a go-getter and is tenacious and doesn’t give up, no matter what the need is. I’m genuinely grateful.

When we brought our grandmother to live with us from Myrtle Beach she had a hard time adjusting because she missed her home and senior center. We went on a search to find her another community of seniors for her daily activities. After visiting a few places we were felt like we wouldn’t find one. Then we visited the Benton House and it was perfect. Everyone was welcoming, the facilities were clean, the activities were perfect and it became her new family. She loved their food and everyone there. She looked forward to going and they welcomed her with a smile. I would recommend the Benton House to everyone for their loved ones. Thank you for making her last days wonderful.

My mom has been a resident at Benton House for six months. She has advanced stage dementia. The entire staff has been nothing short of amazing as has her care. She’s very well taken care of in all aspects of her life now which gives us such peace of mind. We know she’s safe and being treated with dignity and respect. The staff made the transition from her home to Benton a hard situation easier by the gentle and loving way in which they helped walk us through it. Lourdes came to the hospital to visit my mom two days prior to being discharged. She held our hand as she walked us through every step of the way from completing paperwork for the insurance company to escorting us to her room when we arrived for the first time. We’ve had nothing but positive experiences since being at Benton and would highly recommend it to anyone.

When you park here, stay. From tour to move Benton House Grayson treated us like family. Before even coming in person, the email and text messages received to set up a tour were so personable and professional. Touring with Lourdes was everything. She made sure to cover every detail. It was a very emotional time after losing a parent and finding a new home for my other parent. They were there every step of the way. Later meeting Christine and Charlene and seeing how genuine they were made everything feel right. Lourdes made the second visit so comforting, she was so loving with my loved one. So patient and kind, went out of her way to find a favorite beverage. So many extra steps just for a second tour. And when it came to move in time the transition was so smooth. The communication is so wonderful and I have seen such a change in a positive direction with my loved one. It is comforting, it feels like family. Their attention to detail and keeping themselves current on all topics that impact the lives of seniors is important to them and it shows in their desire to stay current through constant training. This feels like a family that you should join. And I am so glad we did!

The marketing director of Benton House of Grayson took her time with me to discuss different needs for my mom. She was very caring and knowledgeable about different resources. She gave me a tour of the community which was well staffed and cleaned. The director made a call to another community that could offer respite care immediately. I am so thankful for her help and guidance. I feel this community would have been a place for my mom; however, she has passed away. The director has called and reached out to me during this difficult time. I want to thank her for being so empathetic to my needs.
