My parents spent the last few years of their lives at Brookdale Tallgrass. They were able to stay together even though their needs were very different. My father had Alzheimer's and needed the locked facility for safety. Mom was able to be as involved or as alone as she wished. The staff was patient, knowledgeable and efficient. Mom & Dad settled in quickly and considered Brookdale Tallgrass home. Thank you Brookdale Tallgrass staff.

The management at Tallgrass is exceptional, working with them is the only reason this facility is as good as it is. My grandfather lived here and got the best care in town because they all work together and no one is above any chore or task. I have seen their head director cooking on weekends and their activity manager working regular care shifts and every manager is very approachable and interacting with families. Brookdale don’t know how good they have it with this team. My grandmother was at another Brookdale facility in KC and it was not even close to this good. If I ever have a need or know anyone who needs their service I will look up these leaders and place with them! Top to bottom they are the best TEAM in town! Charles, Michelle, you are the best!

When my mother needed extra help, my siblings and I toured multiple facilities in Wichita. Brookdale Tallgrass was our unanimous choice due to the excellent staff. They welcomed not only my mother, but my family as well. She is thriving under their care and attention. The staff are compassionate and dedicated from the nurses to the cooks to the facilities manager. They are like extended family. The heartfelt kindness shown to all of us has set Brookdale Tallgrass apart. The facility is clean, the food is delicious, and there is a large variety of activities provided both on site and out in the community. The residents have many opportunities to stay active and engaged. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Tallgrass to anyone looking for thorough and compassionate care for their loved one.

We have our mom at Brookdale Tallgrass and they provide top notch care!!! Michelle, the head nurse, is fantastic!! She keeps us updated if anything is going on and really pours her heart into her work. It’s clearly not just a job for her. She truly cares for the residents!!! The whole staff and Charles, the head of the team, also go above and beyond to reassure and help with anything that’s needed. I rest easy knowing she’s at a place where people love and care for her.

My Mom has been living at Brookdale Tallgrass for over four years and we have been more than happy with the care that she receives there. The place is always clean and well kept and the staff are kind and compassionate in their caregiving.
