Smaller, family-like community. Always extremely clean with lots of lively activities happening every time I’m there. Staff are more like family & residents always have a smile. Such a great asset to Bedford!

My mom was not happy with having to leave her home in November of 2024, but my sister and I made the decision for her that assisted living was the way to go. She visited with me and did a tour, and that was all it took! She was ready to move in as soon as possible. Because she wanted the larger of the two rooms, she had to wait for a bit as one of the rooms was getting a "makeover". She moved in later in November, and Nikki, Kelly, Kim, Shellie and Melissa were so accommodating to her needs that we knew right away that she was in the right spot for her. The facility was always immaculate, guests and residents were very happy, and the staff, in its entirety, is supreme. I never worried about Mom after we moved her into Cedar Creek of Bedford. There were tons of activities for her to involve herself in on the daily. She put puzzles together, played Bingo, went to devotions, ate her wonderful meals in the dining room daily, and talked to her many friends. Everyone there, was very sweet to my mother and she loved all of them as well. As she started deteriorating in health, they put even more time and effort into her daily tasks, and she spent the remainder of her life in her happy place. Hats off to the nursing staff, directors, and all workers there. Best facility in the area for assisted living care.

The whole staff are caring, supportive and very engaged with the residents who are in their care. The staff are always willing to help or answer questions and their interaction with my father-in-law was amazing. They loved him and gave him loving care. The facilities are kept very clean and it seems everytime I was there someone was cleaning something. We appreciate all of them and know our loved one was loved and received excellent care. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The entire team at Cedar Creek in Bedford did an excellent job of caring for my Mom during her stay. I didn’t have one bad experience over the 7 months that she was there. If I called in the evening or anytime they were all eager to help and check up on Mom or do whatever I asked. Mom was comfortable there and knew that each caregiver had her best interest in mind. I would definitely recommend the Cedar Creek facility to a friend or family member that needed a place for their loved one to stay where they could be confident that they would receive the best care possible.

After a very poor experience with another assisted living facility, I found Cedar Creek of Bedford. I live in Bloomington but chose Cedar Creek of Bedford because of the home-like feel which was confirmed by the kindness of the first people I met there. My Mom lived there the last two years of her life. She found a real community there, a mix of individuals at different levels and a truly dedicated staff who work hard to keep the residents involved in the ways that work for them. Staff are very caring and patient. They truly like and care for those who live there and are respectful of each individual. Every staff person there gives their individual best from the Director to nursing staff to the cooks in the kitchen, everyone and for the residents, there are all kinds of activities, crafts, outings and special events. Residents’ families are included and encouraged to participate too! And lots of work goes into not just keeping a clean and safe residence but also in making it homey and celebrating holidays of all kinds. It is the people who make a home and this was home for my Mom. And when we knew my Mom didn’t have a lot of time left, they were there for her and for me as she left this world. I highly recommend that if you are looking for yourself or a loved one or a friend, you visit and meet the staff there. Bedford has a wonderful treasure in Cedar Creek of Bedford.
